P&O Cruises has revealed four new drinks packages, which guests will be able to purchase on holidays of five nights or more. Each package is available for a fixed price per person, per day, with a discount applied when purchased prior to sailing. This can be achieved by logging into My P&O Cruises up to three days before the holiday, or within the first two nights of being on board.

The Refresh drinks package includes a range of soft drinks and, for guests travelling with children over the age of 16, will be provided at no extra cost providing a Classic or Deluxe drinks package has been purchased. It is priced at £9.85 per person, per day prior to sailing, and £10.95 whilst on board.
Meanwhile, the Alcohol-free drinks package – priced at £22.45 per person, per day before the cruise, and £24.95 during – is an extension of the Refresh package. It also includes Costa Coffee, teapigs and a greater range of soft drinks.
The P&O Cruises Classic drinks package provides the soft drinks mentioned above, as well as a range of cocktails, spirits and wines. Passengers will also be able to sample P&O Cruises exclusive Marabelle Gin and Golden Tide Rum with a mixer of their choice. Any drinks outside the package may be purchased with a 20% discount. This is priced at £40.45 and £44.95 per person, per day.
The most extensive P&O Cruises drinks package is the Deluxe option. This includes all the drinks mentioned above, in addition to an extended range of cocktails, spirits and wines. This particular package is available for £49.45 per person, per day before sailing, and £54.95 whilst on board.
All adults in the same cabin must purchase the same package, and all packages are limited to 15 drinks in any 24-hour period. The new packages will be available on board Iona and Ventura from 20 May 20 2023 and across the rest of the fleet by July 2023.

If a drinks package is purchased pre cruise is the loyalty level discount applied?
Secondly if you have to pay at time of pre cruise booking, will it come out of the on board credit?

When you login to Mypocruises.com and add your package to the basket, your loyalty level discount should show. To use your onboard credit, you would need to purchase the drinks package onboard.
