Carnival Celebration has officially been welcomed to the Carnival Cruise Line fleet. The newest Excel-class ship and sister to Mardi Gras was handed over at a signing ceremony at Meyer Turku in Finland ahead of her maiden voyage. The ship will depart Southampton on a 14-day Transatlantic Crossing and a naming ceremony will be held on arrival in Miami.
Highlights of Carnival Celebration include a three-deck atrium, and a host of food and drink concepts spread across six themed zones such as The Gateway, a homage to all things travel, and Miami-inspired 820 Biscayne.
Onboard activities such as BOLT, the first rollercoaster at sea, ensure Carnival delivers the family fun for which it is known, while fleet favourites such as Bonsai Teppanyaki and the RedFrog Tiki Bar satisfy returning customers. Visual Symphony will make use of the 16 LED screens that span three decks alongside special effects to create a high-tech masterpiece.

“She represents the culmination of our 50th birthday while also shining a light on our bright future with so much more excitement to come!”
