Chillful. Playful. Sinful. Three words that describe Eden, the mind-blowing new dining and entertainment venue set to debut on board Celebrity Edge, the brand-new ship from Celebrity Cruises.
Located aft, Eden will span three decks and measure an incredible 12,650 sq. ft., floor-to-ceiling glass providing spectacular views of the ocean as you eat, drink and socialise in a space that is the first of its kind at sea.
The atmosphere in Eden, a space which will be exclusive to Celebrity Edge, will change throughout the day.
In the morning, Eden will be ‘Chillful’. Three decks of windows will offer the perfect vantage point for sunrises and lazy early mornings with an ocean view. Your morning brew and breakfast bites will come courtesy of the Eden Café, with all roads leading to a relaxing start to your day.
Come afternoon, Eden will be ‘Playful’. Cookery and cocktail classes will be the main attraction, as well as unexpected musical performances and leisurely catch ups in Eden’s stunning surroundings. Your artisanal cocktail will be enhanced with the flavour of herbs picked fresh from the herb wall behind the bar and you will enjoy your drinks beneath the Tree of Life, a living sculpture created around a real tree that grows through three decks.
Evenings will see a ‘Sinful’ side to Eden. An indulgent, delicious assault on the senses, Eden will differ from the usual dinner theatre experience in which the meal is an accompaniment to the show. Instead, Eden will inextricably fuse sultry performance art, amazing food and fantastic nightlife in an experience led by the Edenist hosts. The sensory experience promises speciality dining with a difference; immersive, visual, fun and – most importantly – delicious. According to Cornelius Gallagher, Associate VP of Food and Beverage for Celebrity Cruises, the set menu will feature dishes including the wildly experimental sea urchin served over a bowl of live fish. Eden will be a free public space for all and will be both wheelchair accessible and child-friendly.
