Celebrity River Cruises has announced its entry into the European river cruise market, bringing the brand’s signature luxury, design innovation, and elevated hospitality to the Rhine and Danube. Guests will soon be able to experience the rivers of Europe The Celebrity Way on two groundbreaking new ships: Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker.
Celebrity’s new river ships combine the sleek, contemporary design of the brand’s award-winning Edge Series ocean ships with the intimacy and charm of Europe’s rivers. Their patent-pending design delivers more space to relax, an enhanced sailing experience, and unrivalled access to the heart of Europe.
Life on board Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker promises to be every bit as stylish and indulgent as you’d expect from Celebrity Cruises. Highlights include:
Every stateroom has been thoughtfully designed to give you more room to relax, with king-sized beds, smart storage, and spacious balconies. Whether you choose an Infinite Veranda stateroom, a River View retreat, or a suite with your very own butler, you’ll enjoy touches of luxury everywhere – from stocked minibars and plush linens to destination-inspired amenities.
Foodies will be spoilt for choice with 8 restaurants and bars on board. From locally inspired menus that change with the destinations to much-loved Celebrity favourites like Martini Bar, Sunset Bar and Café al Bacio, there’s something for every mood. Add in 24/7 dining and complimentary room service breakfast, and you’ll have complete flexibility to dine your way.
Celebrity River Cruises will operate 33 seven-night sailings on the Rhine and Danube, showcasing Europe’s most iconic cities and hidden gems. Guests can enjoy overnight stays, multiple port calls per day, and immersive excursions such as private wine tastings in Austria, cycling the Danube’s riverbanks, or relaxing in Budapest’s thermal baths.
Pre- and post-cruise stays will also be available in cities like Prague and Budapest, with packages launching in early 2026.
