And just like that, the last Bank Holiday of the year is upon us. We aren’t quite ready to bed down for winter just yet, instead you’ll find us sipping jugs of Viking’s sweet sangria in the garden as we embrace those last few days of summer.
Serves six (allegedly – we won’t judge…)
1 large orange, peeled, segmented and cut in half
150g strawberries, hulled and quartered
155g seedless green grapes, halved
750ml bottle of rosé wine
90ml Cointreau or other orange-flavored liqueur
Juice of one lemon
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and refrigerate for three hours. Serve in wine glasses or large tumblers over ice.
