Entertainment Enhanced On Board MSC Virtuosa

MSC Virtuosa is set to become a premier entertainment hotspot this summer as she sails from Southampton, enhancing an already impressive array of options.

The centrepiece is ‘Dirty Dancing: In Concert’, an immersive live-to-film concert event. This unique experience elevates the classic Lionsgate film with the presence of a live band, dynamic vocalists, and skilled dancers, animating the film’s screening in an unforgettable way.

During their voyage, passengers will have multiple opportunities to enjoy showing, with performances scheduled including a matinee on days at sea. Spanning 90 minutes, the concert showcases a full band and a cast of adept singers and dancers who perform with the film playing in the background.

Dirty Dancing: In Concert will premiere on 10 July 2025, perfectly timed for the summer holiday season.

But that’s not all; guests on MSC Virtuosa can also look forward to two other spellbinding productions in the main theatre. ‘Songbook Abba’ presents a tribute to the music of ABBA, with the band’s timeless hits performed live by a remarkable theatre ensemble. Additionally, ‘Starwalker’ celebrates the legacy of Michael Jackson, featuring his classic music and signature dance moves brought to the stage by a gifted company of performers.

Steve Leatham, Vice-President of Entertainment at MSC Cruises, said: “Providing an impressive array of spectacular entertainment options for every type of guest around the clock is key to creating an unforgettable cruise experience. MSC Virtuosa is an incredible platform for pushing the boundaries of entertainment at sea. We’re thrilled to introduce brand-new daytime and evening headline events that will leave our guests in awe. We’re particularly excited about the premiere of ‘Dirty Dancing: In Concert’, ‘Hall of Fame’ and our newest Carousel Productions Cirque shows, which will both debut this summer in the Theatre.”
