New Entertainment to Feature On Board Star Princess

Princess Cruises has unveiled an array of new entertainment offerings aboard its upcoming Sphere-class ship, Star Princess, launching on 4 October 2025. Designed to redefine evenings at sea, the entertainment programme features two brand-new large-scale theatre productions, live music, and immersive new events.

At the heart of the offering are two exclusive theatrical productions. ‘Meridian’ is a cinematic-style spectacle set aboard a fictional ship, where the fate of noblewoman Arabella Dovewood unfolds during a lavish masked ball.

The second show, ‘Illuminate: A Spectacle of Joy,’ is a high-energy, circus-style production that combines aerial artistry, dynamic choreography, and a multi-generational pop soundtrack.

In addition to the main stage performances, Star Princess will offer an enhanced selection of live music across the ship. Returning from Sun Princess is the guest-favourite ‘Viva La Música,’ a Latin music experience blending the sounds of Santana, Camila Cabello and other iconic artists. Guests can also enjoy the Candlelight Concert Series in The Dome, where classical musicians perform by candlelight under a panoramic evening sky. In The Piazza, ‘Princess Jamz’ will showcase a 45-minute orchestrated performance led by the Princess World Orchestra and Cruise Director, transforming the central atrium into a vibrant hub of energy and celebration.

Another highlight is the Celestial Champagne Soirée, a fresh take on the classic Champagne Waterfall event. This new version features a multimedia spectacle with added light and sound elements, creating a more immersive and memorable experience for guests.
