Royal Caribbean International has revealed that new ship Odyssey of the Seas is to sail a ‘mini season’ from Southampton and Barcelona in spring 2021.
Odyssey of the Seas will join the fleet in March and is planning two sailings from Southampton and three cruises from Barcelona before repositioning to its summer homeport of Rome.
Her mini season of itineraries will begin on 2 April 2021 with a three-night voyage to Bruges and Rotterdam, followed by a five-night cruise to Spain will call in Vigo and Cartagena, before arriving in Barcelona.
From there, Odyssey will sail three four and five-night cruises from Barcelona to Spain, France and Italy, rounding off with a four-night repositioning trip to Rome with port calls in Nice, Marseille and Florence.
Odyssey was originally scheduled for delivery in autumn 2020, before being put back to spring 2021. The 4,200 passenger ship will be the fifth Quantum-class vessel in the fleet.
Following summer in the Mediterranean, Odyssey will reposition to Fort Lauderdale in November 2021. Find out more about the ship and sailings here.
