Our Favourite Bits of the Princess Cruises 2024 World Cruise

It’s the journey of a lifetime; Island Princess is to sail Princess Cruises’ 2024 World Cruise, spanning an incredible 111 nights.

On sale today (11 November) the Princess Cruises 2024 World Cruise will sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on 4 January 2024. A 97-night voyage is also on offer, sailing from Los Angeles on 18 January 2024.

Guests on the Princess World Cruise will experience 51 destinations across 27 countries and six continents: Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.

Here are some of the bits we’re looking forward to most…

12 Maiden World Cruise Ports

Maiden cruise ports are always exciting, but experiencing them as part of a world cruise for the first time is a whole new ball game. The new Princess World Cruise will take in some stunning destinations along the way and 12 maiden world cruise ports are among them: Galilee/Nazareth (Haifa), Bali (Benoa), Crete (Heraklion), Mykonos, Naples, Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Genoa (Milan), Villefranche, Lisbon, Agadir, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Bermuda.

Mykonos promises rustic Greek Isles hideouts in a place that strikes just the right balance between well-heeled and authentic. Haifa promises to intrigue, while the Italian classics – Naples, Florence or Pisa, and Milan – are an opportunity to indulge in la dolce vita; double order the pasta, dig deep into the burrata, dance in piazzas and let the line between lazy late morning espresso and naughty early lunchtime wine blur.

25 UNESCO World Heritage Sites

A World Cruise traverses the globe, showing you the best of it as you go. Of those endless sights, UNESCO’s World Heritage Wonders meander right at the top of the list. Island Princess will call at 25 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Acropolis in Athens, the Port Fortress of Cartagena and the ancient Greek city of Ephesus in Turkey. Forget school, these are the history lessons you’ll want to attend.

A Night in Dubai

Dubai is sleek, sophisticated, heck some might even say superfluous. It’s a one of a kind, all bright lights, big beaches, brunches and excess in extremes you’ll struggle to find anywhere else on earth. Dubai is Disneyland for adults and you’ll spend a night there with Princess Cruises.

“Embarking on a Princess World Cruise to experience the globe’s marquis ports and hidden gems, where all the planning is done by the Princess destination experts, easily turns adventurous world travel dreams into a reality,” said Deanna Austin, Princess Cruises chief commercial officer. “And with MedallionClass, cruising is effortless, personalised and easy to stay connected from afar to loved ones back home or even to the office.”
