Four additional cruises have been added to Saga’s summer 2023 schedule, timed to coincide with events such as the Rolex Fastnet Yacht Race and the Tall Ships Race.
The shorter voyages of between six and eight nights begin on board Spirit of Discovery on 16 July, where a departure from Tilbury will cover ports in Falmouth, the Isles of Scilly and more.
Other highlights of the extended 2023 summer season include a full circumnavigation of Britain on board Spirit of Adventure. The cruise starts and finishes in Dover, taking in sights such as Scotland’s most northerly town, John O’Groats, as well as uninhabited locations along the shoreline.
Nigel Blanks, CEO of Saga Cruises, said: “Our round-Britain cruises always prove popular with guests. As they’re quite short, they’re a great way for newcomers to cruising to find out if it’s for them, and these new ones will take in some fantastic sights from yacht and tall ship races to the incredible coastline of Britain, which is really best seen from the sea.”
Saga ocean cruises are all-inclusive and offer a door-to-door chauffeur service, car parking near the port or domestic flights. All dining on board is included, as well as a selection of cocktails, draft beers and lagers, wines, spirits, mixers and soft drinks.

These may be new cruises but SAGA don't mention these are at the expense of cancelling their originally published cruises and as a consequence disappointing people already booked on cruises to Scandinavia. We love SAGA cruises but not happy to have our planned holiday scrapped!
