Princess Cruises has added a new 2026 solar eclipse cruise to its schedule. Offering a range of Mediterranean cruises lasting between seven and 21 days and departing from several European ports, Sun Princess is offering six Total Solar Eclipse sailings for its 2026 season.
When the 2026 solar eclipse occurs on 12 August, Sun Princess will be positioned off the coast of southern Spain, when guests will appreciate two minutes and 18 seconds of daytime darkness.

The onboard experience will be enriched with expert talks on astronomy, celebratory eclipse-themed food and beverages, nighttime stargazing activities, solar system quizzes, and more. Enthusiasts who wish to enhance their eclipse viewing are welcome to set up personal telescopes on the deck and are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the event with themed clothing and accessories.
