The Princess Cruises ship Regal Princess is taking centre stage in Channel 5’s new show, ‘The Cruise: Fun Loving Brits at Sea’. The series premiered on Monday, 14th August at 4pm and takes viewers on a captivating journey through the Mediterranean with groups of holidaymakers across the 20 episodes.
Over the course of four weeks, from Monday to Friday, you’ll witness cruising from various perspectives and gain insight into what it means for those embarking on their dream holiday at sea. The first episode introduced Andy and Rachel, best friends from Leeds and cruising newbies, the Walker Green family from The Isle of Wight, who combine home-schooling and vacations, and Carla, a cruise enthusiast who brings her new-to-cruise friends along for the ride.
From exploring the historic wonders of Rome to indulging in delightful cuisine and beverages in Italy and Greece, and even witnessing the Walker Green family’s unique blend of travel and education in Turkey, this show promises to showcase the exhilarating activities and cultural immersion that a dream holiday at sea can offer.
Eithne Williamson Vice-President of Princess Cruises UK and Europe, said: “Channel 5’s new TV series promises to be a real celebration of all things cruise and showcases just how unique each journey is to our guests.
“We’re looking forward to viewers experiencing the Princess difference as each group enjoys our renowned amenities, from exceptional dining to our MedallionClass experience and extraordinary service from our crew.”
