Where is Dover?
Dover is a town and major ferry port located in the county of Kent, in the South East of England. It is situated on the English Channel at the mouth of a valley in the chalk uplands that form the famous White Cliffs of Dover. Dover faces France across the Strait of Dover, the narrowest part of the English Channel, which is approximately 21 miles from Cap Gris Nez in France. It is approximately 68 miles east of London.
