At nearly twice the width of traditional European river cruise ships, AmaMagna is bringing a new dimension in river cruising when she launches in May 2019.
AmaMagna will offer AmaWaterways guests a water sports platform, choice of four restaurants, a wellness studio and ultra-spacious accommodation.
For her 196 guests, who will be looked after by 70 crew, there’s even more personal space than ever before on an AmaWaterways ship.
AmaMagna will offer the most spacious and comfortable accommodation on the Danube with her 53 suites all offering full-width step out balconies. The in-suite luxuries don’t stop there as each one will feature a marble bathroom, many with double sinks, as well as a deluxe walk-in multi-jet shower and separate bath.
Love to soak up the sun? A double-width ship means more space on the top deck, where you will enjoy views along the Danube as you make the most of the large heated pool, a whirlpool and pop-up Sky Bar.
Elsewhere on board, you can relax and watch the world go by in the larger yet still intimate split-level lounge.
Just like on any ocean cruise, fine dining remains a key part of the river cruise experience and this is no different for AmaWaterways’ AmaMagna.
Fine dining will be offered in all the restaurants on-board at no additional charge, with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks also served at meal times.
Guests can opt to dine in the main restaurant or enjoy a multi-course taster menu at speciality restaurant, Chef’s Table. There’s also the chance to dine in one of two new additional options for those seeking even more variety. Found at the front of the ship, Al Fresco is perfect for guests looking for an intimate dining experience. With space for only 35 diners at a time and with retractable windows, this venue will be a sought-after dining option whatever the weather.
Named after the late Mr. Murphy, one of AmaWaterways’ co-founders, Jimmy’s Wine Bar Restaurant will allow wine connoisseurs to revel in the ambiance of this unique space. With high-top tables and private wine rooms, 65 guests can indulge in delicious cuisine and expertly-chosen fine wines.
AmaMagna will be the first river cruise ship to feature a water sports platform, complete with a Sundowner vessel offering a range of unique activity and excursion opportunities at no extra cost.
The new multi-functional Health & Wellness Studio ‘Zen Wellness studio’ is complete with a juice bar and offers group classes focusing on stretching, cardio and circuit training.
There’s also the addition of two massage rooms, as well as a salon so guests can treat themselves to a range of hairdressing and beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures.
