Since her launch in 2013, the award-winning AmaPrima has been the recipient of much praise including ‘Best New River Cruise Ship’ in the Cruise Critics Editors Picks awards.
Like her sister ship AmaCerto, AmaPrima’s sleek design is inspired by that of classic ocean yachts and an air of elegance seeps through every surface. A gleaming glass elevator sits at the heart of the ship, flanked by a grand staircase and hinting at the sophistication to be discovered throughout the ship. The sleek wood panelling and unique furnishings of the Main Lounge lend the area a contemporary feel, while the baby grand piano hints at the entertainment that fills your evenings on board.
Dining is done in style on board AmaPrima and the ship offers a choice of three dining venues. Lunch is best enjoyed at the Al Fresco Bistro; your fine food accompanied by equally impressive views. Erlebris is the ship’s speciality restaurant and invites guests to dine in an intimate space aft of the ship. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide spectacular views across the river, while the award-winning chef creates world-class cuisine in the open kitchen.
A heated pool is sunk into the teak decking, the swim up bar urging you to come over and enjoy a cocktail beneath sunny European skies.
Seventy-nine staterooms and 3 suites become a home-from-home for AmaPrima’s 164 passengers. AmaWaterways’ exclusive twin balconies feature in the majority of cabins, opening up the space with a combination of French Balcony and Outside Balcony. The beautiful design of the ship’s public areas continues through each and every stateroom; all grades are spacious and carefully designed, with multi-jet showers and sleek marble bathrooms creating a luxurious retreat akin to that more usually found in a boutique hotel. A flat screen infotainment system features in all staterooms and offers free internet access, Hollywood movies, an extensive music library and English language TV stations.
Inclusive shore excursions are part of the AmaWaterways promise and you’ll spend your days immersed in the culture of each destination on your itinerary, heading back to luxury of your ship at the day’s end.
