When Ambassador Cruise Line launches with its first ship Ambience in spring of 2022, it’ll become the first new cruise line for British guests since 2010. It’ll bring authentic, premium cruising to over-50s with a love for traditional cruise holidays in all their glory.
As the flagship of the Ambassador Cruise Line fleet, mid-sized Ambience will host 1,400 UK cruisers on her decks when she sets sail from London Tilbury on her first season of sailings next year. The first Ambassador ship will feature 798 cabins, five restaurants and nine lounges, plus a central pool and oodles of opportunity for rest and relaxation within an already synonymous purple and green exterior. Entertainment will light up nights with comedians in The Palladium, guest speakers in the Observatory and nightcaps with a band in Raffles Bar. A first look at Ambience suggests bold interiors and an air of chic city hotel in her approach to seagoing style.
Ambience will sail a first season from London Tilbury, embarking on 33 carefully-curated sailings taking in 88 different ports. Her destinations are wide-ranging, from the British Isles and Norwegian Fjords, to the Baltics, Greenland, Iceland, the Arctic and even the Caribbean. Ambassador Cruise Line will spend Christmas and New Year in the Canaries, with a 34-night no-fly cruise to Canada another highlight. As part of her inaugural season, Ambience will also welcome children and younger adults aboard for special ‘multi-generational’ family sailings.
Guests holidaying with the new British cruise line will have the opportunity to take advantage of the Ambassador Moments Drinks Packages, tailored to suit their own requirements with inclusions like gratuities and service charges.
