Disney Cruise Line has something for everyone. Discover relaxation and fun for the whole family that brings you together to create long-lasting memories. A Disney Cruise is jam-packed with spectacular Broadway-style shows, fireworks at sea and original music live shows, all whilst sailing to incredible destinations and being at sea with some world-famous Disney characters.
Get ready to set sail on a magical adventure, full of new discoveries. Exciting destinations include the rugged spaces of Alaska. Kids will love the port-adventures like gold panning and dog sledding, whilst the adults take in the spectacular fjords, glaciers and waterfalls. Closer to home, explore some of Europe’s most exciting cities, visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites and soak up the sun whether you’re in Spain, Italy, or cruising along the French Riviera.
Spread your wings and cast your eyes on the Caribbean, where you can surrender to the sand, sea, and surf in absolute paradise. Shop for some amazing bargains, visit ancient ruins, and let your hair down and take up some of the must-do watersports. Look out for Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line’s own private island in the Bahamas. As you disembark onto this lush island, everything is catered for. Lounge chairs, beach umbrellas, tasty food and family-friendly entertainment is all part of your Disney experience, you can even shop using your Key to the World (ship card) to buy purchases in the local shops. There are ample fun-filled activities for the whole family from kayaking, swimming, and snorkelling in the blue lagoon.
There are five Disney Cruise Ships, each of which is classic in appearance, but far from ordinary once you get on board. You will find state-of-the-art comfort, legendary service, and the magic you’d expect of such a cruise line. Disney pride themselves on expanding the imagination and pushing the boundaries – and their ships are certainly no different.
All the Disney ships are colour inspired by none other than Mickey Mouse himself, with a black hull, white structure and two giant red funnels displaying his iconic silhouette, and the only cruise line to have five Captains. Captain Hook, Captain Jack Sparrow, Minnie and, of course, Mickey.
Behold to finally meet and greet some of your favourite Disney characters on board. Throughout your holiday, opportunities will be at every corner from the Beuno Vista Theatre, to Pixar Days at Sea, Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Frozen Deck Parties, Pirate Nights and more. Disney and Marvel characters include; Capatain America, Mighty Thor, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Panther, Goofy, Pluto, Donald and Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
All accommodations on Disney feature innovative comforts and modern amenities. Designed with families in mind, they’re equipped with privacy curtains, storage space, divided bathrooms and most have separate sinks making it easier for you to get ready. From inside, spacious rooms to suites, there’s something to suit your travel requirements. There are also a number of staterooms that are wheelchair accessible for extra comfort and convenience. Again range from inside to suites, and include open bed frames, roll-in showers, lowered towel bars and closet bars and accessible vanity table.
There’s an abundance of choice when it comes to dining onboard, including a number of restaurants where you can choose how and when you want to dine. Disney Cruise Line offer what they call ‘Rotational Dining’ giving you the flexibility to try one-of-the-three main restaurants when you like, with the added perks of taking your waiters with you, so you’ll never have to repeat your dietary requests, likes and dislikes to anyone else. There are quick-bites, and adult-only restaurants too for a more intimate night out.
Splash it up in one-of-many pools, themed ones for the little splashers, to twisting waterslides for the adrenaline junkies. On all ships there is the Quiet Cove Pool, a haven for guests over 18 years of age featuring whirlpool spas, comfortable lounge chairs, for cocktail sipping, book reading or watching TV at the nearby Cove Café.
