Family features

Younger guests are warmly welcomed aboard with fun and exciting activities for them to enjoy in Club HAL. Club HAL Kids is for children ages 3-7 and Club HAL Tweens is for ages 8-12. Teenagers get their very own hangout in The Loft, which also extends up on the Sky Deck to The Oasis for late-night sporting competitions and teen-only nightclub events.

Lively Productions Every Evening

Professional dancers and celebrity guests dazzle the audience with routines in the lively production of ‘Dancing with the Stars: At Sea’ in the Mondrian Lounge. Participate in complimentary dance classes with the ships professional dancers and learn routines as seen in American TV series ‘Dancing with the Stars’. You can even compete in ‘Dancing with the Stars: At Sea’ for the honour of becoming cruise dance champion.

Weave in and out of the lively hub of bars on the lower promenade deck and choose between multiple musical genres. Canaletto’s innovative menu is designed around the authentic Italian experience of sharing. Share a taste of zuppa di pesce, a tomato broth infused with mussels, scallops and vegetables and savour classic Italian pasta in all shapes and sauces with veal, roasted pork loin and grilled fish. The Lido Restaurant offers relaxed dining with panoramic sea views, with entrees, gracious tableside service and a huge selection of wines from the cellar available during the evening. You can also enjoy a variety of breakfast selections including pancakes, fresh fruit, omelettes and more, with Asian cuisine, pizza, gourmet sandwiches and a salad bar available during lunch.

Dress Code

Holland America Line encourages passengers to dress for comfort and enjoy their holiday, with the dress code throughout the day being casual. During the evening the dress code ranges from smart casual to formal, depending on the occasion. On formal occasions women usually wear cocktail dress and evening gowns and men tend to wear either suits or tuxedos.  There are typically two formal nights per week, but this will vary depending on your chosen voyage.
