The Greenhouse Spa & Salon harbours a haven of luxurious beauty treatments with thermal pools, heated ceramic loungers and treatment rooms all facing out to sea. The relaxation continues around MS Zuiderdam’s many pool scenes; perfect for lazy days looking out over the ocean waves whilst sipping on a freshly made cocktail. Perhaps you’d prefer a quieter spot in the Explorations Café? Powered by The New York Times, this excellent venue is home to an extensive library, puzzles and more and is the perfect place for you to enjoy with a custom espresso and buttery pastries.

Stay Active

Prefer to stay active and work up a sweat?  If this is the case then head for the state-of-the-art gymnasium in the Fitness Centre. Not only will you find the latest cardio and weight machines, you’ll also find professionally trained staff are close by for a helping hand. Feeling guilty due to the incredible cuisine on board but don’t want to head to the gym? Head for the sports court and enjoy a family-friendly game of basketball or volleyball.

Digital Workshops & Culinary Classes

Elsewhere aboard MS Zuiderdam you can expand your culinary knowledge in the Culinary Arts Centre, held in the Queens Lounge, and take home your found knowledge to impress family and friends. Alternatively take part in a 50-minute session in the Digital Workshop for fun, free and informative technology advice and instruction from Microsoft trained ‘techsperts’.

Live Entertainment

The three-tiered Vista Lounge presents you with Broadway inspired musical productions, for a show stopping performance that will have you singing and swaying in your seat. Alternatively head for the Queens Lounge and enjoy music from BB King’s Blues Club whilst you enjoy your signature drink of choice.  Gather around the Piano Bar and sing along as the pianist plays your requests or well-known favourites, enjoy cocktails and ocean views in the Ocean Bar or head to the Crow’s Nest and dance the night away as the sunset transforms the bar into a lively dance club after dark. The Sports bar is the place to be for live sporting events broadcasted via ESPN International.

End your night by taking on lady luck in the Casino. Spin the roulette wheel, take on the blackjack table, or try your hand at poker. Perhaps you’d rather find a lucky seat at the slot machines? Whatever you choose you are sure to enjoy the thrill of a Las Vegas experience.

As You Wish Dining…

Dining aboard MS Zuiderdam is an unforgettable experience with restaurants to suit every mood. The Main Dining Room, known as the Vista Restaurant, offers you sophisticated five-star dining and spans two tiers. Passengers can choose a set seating time each evening or be spontaneous with Holland America Line’s aptly named ‘As You Wish’ dining, that is all about flexibility and freedom. One level of the Main Dining Room hosts sittings at 5.45pm and 8.00pm; whilst the other is reserved for guests who arrive as they wish.

Intimate Evenings

Looking for a more intimate evening? Book a table at the Pinnacle Grill and you will be met with Bvlgari china, Riedel stemware and Frette linens upon your arrival. Open for lunch and dinner, the Pinnacle Grill features dishes inspired from America’s Pacific Northwest, with delicious seafood and perfectly grilled steak complimented by extraordinary wines. You can even join the Pinnacle Grill for ‘An Evening at Le Cirque’ where you can experience the unique taste of Sirio Maccioni’s legendary New York restaurant.

Casual Settings

Along with the main dining room, MS Zuiderdam offers guests alternative venues for an evening meal. For a more casual and relaxed dining experience there is a 24-hour buffet service available from the Lido Restaurant, where you can also see unrivalled views out to sea and taste culinary creations from around the world. Head over to Canaletto and share a taste of zuppa di pesce, a tomato saffron broth infused with mussels, scallops and vegetables or savour classic Italian pasta in all shapes and sauces.

Dress Code

The dress code on board MS Zuiderdam is resort casual during the day with emphasis on relaxation and enjoying your holiday.  There are approximately two formal nights per week and the dress codes falls into two categories: Smart Casual and Formal. Formal evenings are often the highlight of a voyage with gentlemen in tuxedos and ladies in lavish evening gowns.
