MSC Fantasia was the first ship in its class to be unveiled and instantly became the jewel in the crown of MSC. This fantastic cruise ship has since grown from strength to strength providing passengers with a unique and charming cruise every time. She arrived on the scene in December of 2008 and became an instant hit with her guests. Combining exceptional entertainment features with outstanding levels of comfort, she epitomises everything a modern cruise ship should be.
Of course this would not be an MSC ship without the injection of a little Italian flare and the beautifully designed MSC Fantasia exudes continental inspiration from the moment you arrive on board. Her cutting edge technology throughout is truly sensational and the overall cruising experience is magnificent from start to finish.
One of the most stunning features on board this vessel has to be the Swarovski crystal floor where you can also stare right up at the stars through the transparent ceiling. This elegant and inspirational design is a regular hit with passengers time after time.
Entertainment on board this cruise ship is the key focus and this is no more evident than in the fantastic range of state of the art innovations. This ship even boasts a 4D cinema for guests to experience and you will even find a Formula 1 driving simulator on board. Sound good so far? This is just scratching the surface.
Often spending her time cruising the Mediterranean and South American waters you are almost guaranteed the pleasure of scintillating sunshine. On board this ship there is no finer day to spend a sea day than around one of her four swimming pools, soaking up the sunshine and basking in the pleasure of her surroundings. The four pools on board are divided into adult only and family friendly making her perfect for all types of holiday.
To take relaxation up a notch, head for the sublime MSC Aurea Spa on board for an incredible experience. Here you will find a wonderful array of treatment choices including the superb treatments of the thermal cave, which we particularly recommend.
If you are travelling in a suite on board then you will also have access to the stunning MSC Yacht Club. 71 suites, a bar, solarium, swimming pool and exclusive French restaurant form this enchanting area and offer an impeccable service for guests.
If you are looking to get a little exercise on board then look no further than the fantastic state of the art gymnasium. Alternatively to watch the sunrise in the morning, enjoy a run around the jogging track circling the ship or head to the sports court for a game of basketball, volleyball or tennis.
Evening entertainment is just as exciting with a fabulous range of options to choose from. The 1600 seating L’Avanguardia Theatre provides a spectacular array of showcase productions whilst the Casinó delle Palme with over 1000 square metres of casino gaming is the place to be to see if lady luck is on your side. For a rare whisky or aged tequila head for the charismatic Manhattan Bar inspired by Jazz and home to live musicians throughout each voyage. You’ll also find the Sports Bar close by with everything you need to watch the big game including a brilliant bar menu with a great range of dishes available. Wine connoisseurs will love the range of choice at the exquisite La Cantina Toscana whilst the futuristic Liquid Disco is definitely the place to cap off a fine evening on board.
Children will love this ship as there is just so much to see and do. The video gaming centre on board has to be one of the best ever developed at sea whilst their own private areas give them a sense of exclusivity and freedom on board. The excellent MSC children’s crew always keep the fun going and parents can relax knowing children are safe and sound whilst having the time of their lives.
Cuisine in the main restaurant on board notoriously celebrates the flare and passion of Italian Cuisine. The Red Velvet Dining Room serves up a delightful treat night after night.
