As Executive Culinary Director, Pépin inspires Oceania’s team of executive chefs to perform feats of gastronomic wizardry, their culinary delights having become a hallmark that distinguishes the Oceania experience from any other.
Memorable dining begins with open-seating, so you can dine when you are ready and with whom you choose. Regardless of which restaurant you choose, no dining surcharges will be added to your bill, so you are free to indulge in authentic Italian dishes at Toscana, juicy steaks in the Polo Grill, made to order American classics in the Terrace Café, and signature dishes inspired by continental cuisine on Jacques Pépin’s exclusive menu for the Grand Main Dining Room.
In addition to these restaurants, two additional complimentary dining venues are offered on board select ships in the luxury fleet; the aptly named Jacques is Jacques Pépin’s exquisite French bistro, whilst Red Ginger promises contemporary interpretations of classic Asian cuisine.
Only on board Marina and Riviera, can you enjoy epicurean delights in the private setting of La Reserve or Privée. La Reserve plays host to wine seminars, tasting menus and dinner pairings that see fine wines matched with courses such as Stuffed Brioche with Duck Foie Gras and Truffle Jelly. Privée offers the most exclusive private dining at sea. Afternoon tea is a daily event on board Oceania Cruises ships, with the Horizon Lounge hosting four-tiered carts brimming with finger sandwiches, petits fours, buttery scones, exquisite desserts and a selection of artisanal teas. The Culinary Centre on board Marina and Riviera is the first cookery school at sea to offer hands-on instruction. The ship’s resident master chefs will provide you with instruction and guidance, as you personally prepare every dish from scratch in a professional teaching kitchen.
