Regal Princess Cruise Ship

Regal Princess

Princess Cruises Fleet: Caribbean Princess Coral Princess Crown Princess Diamond Princess Emerald Princess Golden Princess Grand Princess Island Princess Pacific Princess Regal Princess Royal Princess Ruby Princess Sapphire Princess Sea Princess Sky Princess Star Princess Sun Princess

Regal Princess launched into the Princess Cruises fleet in May 2014. Sister to Royal Princess, the 3,600 passenger ship shares many of her most popular features, expertly blended with her own unique identity. At 1083ft, Regal Princess is 80ft longer in length than the London Shard is in height, joining Royal Princess as titleholder of largest ship in the fleet.

The Grand Piazza serves as the gilded entranceway and social heart of the ship. A hub of bars and restaurants, the beautifully ornate Atrium is twice the size of those on any other Princess Cruises’ ship and designed in such a manner that is sure to impress. Conversation and good times flow through the atrium accompanied by the gurgle of a soothing water feature during the day, before being transformed with gravity-defying aerial acrobatics in the evening.

Every element of the ship has been designed to combine the latest technological advances with the glamour and sophistication of traditional cruising, and Regal Princess shows all the signs of a future favourite from the moment you step on board.

Entertainment and Recreation

Regal Princess will have the whole family longing for sea days. Daytime activities are plentiful and cater to all ages and activity levels. Indulge in some unadulterated me time at The Lotus Spa and The Sanctuary. Sink into The Enclave and experience the soothing waters of the Turkish Hammam, Caldarium and Laconium, before snuggling into the folds of your private VIP cabana at The Sanctuary. The Retreat pool is a haven of adults-only peace.

Those in search of a busier poolside on which to recline can head to the Fountain Pool. During the day this is the main pool area on board, but come evening it transforms into the Princess WaterColor Fantasy. This dazzling sound and light spectacle features dancing fountains that shoot water 33ft into the night sky to bring the bright lights of Las Vegas onto the seas.

Sports and Fitness

Sports and fitness comes courtesy of a fully equipped fitness centre, outdoor exercise circuit and jog track. Take to Centre Court for a friendly but competitive game of basketball or volleyball, or head to the grassed area where you can perfect your putting or get strategic with a game of bocce ball or croquet. With a laser shooting range and indoor golf driving range, you’ll never be bored at sea.

The SeaWalk

The SeaWalk is one of the ship’s most striking features. Extending 28ft beyond the starboard side of the ship, the glass-bottomed walkway offers dramatic views of the ocean below. The 60ft walkway hovers 128ft above the ocean below and walking it is an exhilarating experience. Located opposite SeaWalk, the SeaView Bar also extends over the waves and offers unique panoramic views with exotic cocktails and daily bartending shows.

Hub Of Evening Entertainment

The 1,000 seat Princess Theatre is the hub of evening entertainment and the largest theatre on board a Princess Cruises ship. There’s never a dull moment in between Broadway-style shows, comedians and magicians. The Princess Live! TV Studio is a state-of-the-art venue staging game shows, concerts and live Q&A sessions. Flirt with Lady Luck at the Princess Casino, trying your hand at blackjack, Texas Hold’em or roulette or enjoy a night out at Movies Under the Stars; a 300 sq. ft. cinema screen complete with complimentary popcorn for the ultimate cinema experience.

Family Friendly

Regal Princess is designed with families in mind. Three kids clubs offer age-appropriate activities such as pyjama parties and messy crafts for the little ones, or DJ workshops and ‘mocktail’ parties for the teens.  With outdoor areas and a newly introduced teen lounge too, mum and dad can enjoy some quality time safe in the knowledge that the kids are having the time of their lives!

Sixteen Dining Options

With sixteen different dining options, along with ultimate balcony dining, Regal Princess does food exceptionally well. Dine at the same table and time each evening with Traditional Dining in the Allegro dining room, or enjoy more flexibility with Freedom Dining in either the Symphony or Concerto dining rooms. Freedom dining allows you to dine when and with whom you want; a great way to meet new friends.

Passengers choosing Formal Dining can enjoy an elegant dining experience at Chef’s Table Lumiere; a private dining experience secluded from the main dining room by a softly-lit curtain. Celebrate a special occasion with the Ultimate Balcony Dinner. Unique to Princess Cruises, this exclusive dining experience encompasses a privately served 5-course gourmet meal, champagne and dedicated waiting staff.

Fine Tuscan-inspired fare can be found at Sabatini’s speciality restaurant, while the elegant Crown Grill offers a mouth-watering menu of steak and seafood. If you’d rather enjoy a more relaxed dress code after a busy day on shore, head to Horizon Court. This top deck buffet plays host to themed events, with fantastic food served in relaxed surroundings.

After dinner drinks can be enjoyed in one of five bars, each with its own character and appeal. Sip delicious Italian-inspired cocktails in Bellini’s or bask amid the distinct Rat Pack influences of Crooners, a martini bar offering 75 delicious martini blends.

Dress Code

Elegant Casual forms the dress code on board Regal Princess, complimented by Formal Evening’s as a highlight of the cruise. Formal Evening is a lavish black tie event and the perfect opportunity to slip into your finest gown or smartest dinner suit, accessorized with a glass of champagne in hand.
