Life on board Lord Byron

From riverside village views to vine-clad valleys, there is no better place to watch the world glide by than on the aptly named Sun Deck. Decked with plenty of comfortable outdoor chairs and sun loungers, deck games (including giant chess and shuffleboard), a pool and bar area, the Sun Deck is a popular spot on board. If the weather is good, barbeques are also held on the Sun Deck from time to time.

The panoramic observation lounge on the Diamond Deck is the heart of the ship and its floor-to-ceiling windows offer a place for guests to admire the incredible scenery. Rich carpeting, the marble-tiled bar, leather armchairs and soft, modern settees exude genteel ambience. By day, guests can lose themselves in conversation with like-minded new friends, sip a coffee and relax whilst admiring the incredible views. By evening, they can enjoy the soft notes being played by the pianist, opt for a dance on the purpose-designed dance floor, or simply sit back and relax.

Five Star Dining

Guests can start their morning with an early risers’ tea or coffee and freshly baked pastries. With more than 60 hot and cold options, the full breakfast buffet is a heartier option and the omelette station is always popular with everything prepared to order.

The lunch buffet offers an appetising selection, while the afternoon tea and chef’s special patisserie is too tempting to give a miss.

Dinner is a four-course affair executed with silver service, fine table linen and gleaming glassware. Riviera’s open-seating policy ensures guests enjoy a relaxed dining experience that you will always look forward to.
