You can also experience the river cruise of a lifetime down the Mekong and Nile rivers.
At Riviera Travel, itineraries are thoughtfully designed to include all the essential sights and experiences that your chosen destination has to offer. Riviera Travel ensures that you don't miss out on any important highlights with guided tours of your destinations. On the ship, you will enjoy full-board dining and comfortable accommodations, and on select cruises, drinks packages are even included.
You will be provided with information about your luggage allowance when you receive your final travel documents. These documents are typically sent approximately 10 days before your departure date.
Please note that for Eurostar, each person is allowed a maximum of 2 pieces of luggage, and there may be no porterage service available on the station platform.
There is no need for formal attire on board; smart or casual clothing is appropriate for both day and evening activities, as a dress code is not enforced. However, men are kindly asked to refrain from wearing shorts for dinner or tank tops at any time in the dining room. If desired, men can wear a jacket and tie for dinner. The Captain's Dinner offers the opportunity for those who wish to dress more formally.
Yes, all cabins and suites come with tea and coffee facilities that are replenished daily. Additionally, there is a complimentary tea and coffee machine available in the public areas of the ship for everyone to use.
Gratuities on a Riveria Travel cruise are not automatically billed as a fixed percentage or included in the cost. They believe that tipping should be entirely up to your discretion. However, if you would like a suggestion, we recommend giving €8-12 per person per day, if you feel it is appropriate.
On the final evening of your holiday, an envelope will be provided in your cabin. If you wish, you can drop it off at reception the following morning. The tips collected are divided equally among the crew. If you choose to give a gratuity directly to your Riviera Travel Cruise Director and Concierge, that is also at your discretion.
Riviera Travel offers a drinks package for purchase, with the price varying according to the duration of your cruise. The package includes draft beer, non-alcoholic beer, soft drinks, juices, and red, white, and rosé house wines, as well as wine recommendations from the menu, which are available during lunch and dinner.
The plug sockets on Riviera's ships are standard 2-pin round European sockets. Therefore, it is advised to bring an appropriate adapter to ensure compatibility with your electronic devices. Please note that the cabins on the MS Emily Brontë, MS Geoffrey Chaucer, MS William Wordsworth, MS Thomas Hardy, MS Oscar Wilde, and MS George Eliot do have some UK plug sockets for the convenience of passengers with UK-based devices.
