Seabourn Odyssey

The Seabourn Experience  

With only 450 guests on board you would imagine this ship would be of a quainter persuasion when it comes to entertainment. There’s plenty to do on board from meeting experts to celebrities and chefs, to learning the tango, competing in a golf putting competition and so much more. Passengers will also love the spa on board which is et over two decks. This lavish venue provides the perfect retreat for a rejuvenating experience. The thermal area of the spa features a large hydro pool is the ideal place to relax and unwind to wash away any stresses you may feel. The sun terrace at deck eleven offers the perfect venue to soak up the sunshine rays amongst the most serene of pool scenes.

Elsewhere, with its innovative ‘living room’ feel with cosy sofas, chairs and tables Seabourn Square is a comfortable meeting place for coffee, cake, reading and computer, where guests will also find Guest Service specialists, who sit discreetly in the middle to assist guests with any needed advice to booking shore excursions. If you’re looking for something a little more active, head for the Retreat on deck eleven and its multi-use plaza with two shuffleboard courts and a 9-hole contoured golf putting green.

Public Spaces

The atmosphere on board is upscale yet genuine and a truly wondrous entertainment pastime is the socialising choice available. Panoramic views combined with the soft notes of the musical performances or port lecture talks, make the Observation the social hub of the ship. The Grand Salon provides an ever changing revelation of entertainment where guests will love the captivating theatre shows, genius comedy acts and dancing with the Seabourn Band. Alternatively, guests can head for the charmingly striking location of the Sky Bar for a night cap and unrivalled view out to sea.

One of the most exciting features on board Seabourn Odyssey is the signature feature of Seabourn’s Marina. On select warm cruises, the captain will anchor and deploy the Marina inviting guests to enjoy a variety of water sports direct from the ship itself.  From here guests can go windsurfing, diving, snorkelling and water-skiing all from the ship.

Dining

All dining venues are complimentary aboard Seabourn Odssey and guests are invited to dine where, when and with whom they wish. The Restaurant is open for Traditional Dining breakfast, lunch and dinner with superb menus by celebrity chef Charlie Palmer. A captivatingly wonderful dining room serving the most sumptuous culinary creations at sea. A truly splendid dining experience set amongst delightful atmospherics and sheer charismatic wonder. Restaurant 2 is a little more intimate with a contemporary menu selection paired with the perfect wine selections for an inspirational evening of romance.

For something extra special head to the Colonnade, a fabulous dining room with an open kitchen for an insight into the magic that takes place. This indoor/outdoor venue hosts theme evenings to showcase stunning culinary master pieces. If this is all a little too much, however, then retreat to your suite and take advantage of the in-suite service. A 24-hour service available for passengers to enjoy a beautiful meal served course by course and selected from the restaurant menu, dine under the stars for a unique and unforgettable experience.

Excursions

Excursions aboard a Seabourn cruise will feed your imagination like no other. Basque in the glory of the arts or soak up something completely unique in the Caribbean, the choice is endless. One of the feature excursions is the surfboard caviar beach barbecue. The ship’s crew will walk in line directly from the ship on the sand banks of exotic destinations to the beaches with surfboards carrying the finest of champagne and caviar along with superb barbecue cuisine. A once on a lifetime sight and definitely not to be missed.

Dress Code

During the day, the dress code is casual, resort-style attire, including shorts and jeans. During the evening (after 6pm) there are two different dress codes for guest to choose from Elegant Casual and Formal. Elegant casual dress is standard for all dining venues, and Formal attire is required in The Restaurant where men are asked to wear a tuxedo, suit or trousers and a jacket. Ladies may wear evening gowns or cocktail attire.
