We are pleased to announce additional sailings on Seabourn’s newest ship, Seabourn Pursuit for the Summer 2023 season before her currently on sale and scheduled Expedition deployment in October 2023.
Seabourn Pursuit’s season will start with a series of Mediterranean sailings ranging from 7 to 19-days. Meandering through the exquisite blue water between August and September to visit the tranquil, artistic and historical Mediterranean port cities of Taormina, Amalfi St. Tropez, Cinque Terre, Marseille, Palma de Mallorca, Gibraltar, Casablanca and more!
From vibrant Lisbon in mid September, Seabourn Pursuit will transit the Atlantic Ocean to begin a Caribbean adventure in October, enjoying the vibrant characteristics in San Juan, Road Bay & Fort-de-France and providing the exceptional and exclusive Seabourn Event of Caviar in the Surf® in Carambola Beach.
Seabourn Pursuit is due to join Seabourn’s fleet of luxury cruise ships in February 2023. Construction is already underway and she will become the operator’s second purpose-built expedition ship, joining sister ship Seabourn Venture poised to set sail in March 2022.
Bringing together the unrivalled luxury of a Seabourn ship with the added features passengers would want from an expedition cruise, Seabourn Pursuit looks set to deliver an experience like no other.
Seabourn Pursuit’s maiden voyage is scheduled for 4 April 2023, when she will embark on a ‘Fire and Ice’ round trip departing from the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik. She will then explore the waters and landscapes of Greenland, Iceland and Norway throughout the spring and early summer. One of the highlights for August 2023 is Seabourn Pursuit’s journey through some of the most remote areas in the Northern Hemisphere, which include Kangerlussuaq in Greenland and Nome, Alaska.
Seabourn Pursuit brings together a 26-strong team of world-class experts including scientists, scholars and naturalists who will really help guests make the most of their time at sea. Offering unforgettable voyages to some of the world’s most remote yet intriguing destinations, Seabourn Pursuit gives passengers the opportunity to really get to know their ports of call through the eyes of the people who know best.
The ship has also been designed to lend itself beautifully to expedition cruising. From the public spaces to restaurants and everything in between, Seabourn Pursuit leaves no detail to chance. The Discovery Center, for example, is spacious enough to accommodate all guests at any one time. During a Seabourn expedition cruise, experts will use The Discovery Centre to deliver lectures and briefings, and audio-visual experiences will come to life through large, high-definition screens.
Meanwhile, Seabourn Pursuit’s Expedition Lounge is the ideal place to reflect on the day’s discoveries with fellow guests. It’s where passengers will convene before and after their expeditions and is the ideal place to kick back with a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine. Two large touchscreens will also provide access to a wealth of helpful information including photos, navigational charts, weather charts and maps.
