Relax Or Keep Active

Spend your day under the sun around one of MS Noordam’s two outdoor pools or enjoy a spot of relaxation in the Greenhouse Spa and Salon, where you can enjoy a range of superb treatment programs to enjoy. Passengers looking to maintain a fitness regime will love the state of the art gymnasium on board with a great range of equipment and fitness classes to choose from.  Alternatively, head over to the sports court for a game or two of basketball and volleyball. Guests will also find a fabulous range of luxury duty free shopping opportunities on board with everything from fashion to fragrance available in the ship’s boutiques.

The Explorations Café is a quiet and comfortable spot, powered by New York Times, featuring a wide range of books to choose from whilst you sit back and enjoy your custom espresso and pastries.  Guests can also choose to head to the Culinary Arts Centre in the Queen’s Lounge and take up the opportunity to get up close and personal with the famous Holland America chefs.  Witness gourmet presentations and learn a few tricks of the trade to impress friends and family at home.

Somewhere For All Tastes

With an array of bars and lounges available on board, there really is somewhere for all tastes on MS Noordam. Head to the Casino and try your hand at roulette, blackjack, or poker, or take a lucky seat at the slot machines and see if you can come out on top.  There’s also the pleasure of the outstanding Vista Lounge, which comprises over three decks and is the perfect venue to take in a Broadway inspired theatre production presented by the fabulous Holland America Theatre Company.

Later on, head for one of the many bars and gathering places dotted around the ship. Sip on a glass of champagne or indulge in a freshly made cocktail, it’s all here ready and waiting. Enjoy live music in the Ocean Bar or visit the Sports Bar, where you can drink and cheer with friends and family as your favourite teams and events are broadcasted via ESPN International.

Club HAL

Youngers guests are warmly welcomed aboard MS Noordam thanks to the inclusion of the famous Club HAL children’s programme. From younger children right up to teenagers, this ship provides them with their very own sanctuary areas where they can enjoy hours of fun while the grown-ups enjoy some much deserved peace.  The dedicated Club HAL crew are always on hand so parents can relax safe in the knowledge children are having a great time.

The Vista Restaurant

Discover a tradition of excellence in the Main Dining Room known as the Vista Restaurant.  This grand dining room offers you a sophisticated setting with sweeping sea views. Choose between traditional dining or ‘As You Wish’ dining as this two-tiered restaurant reserves a tier for each seating arrangement. Traditional dining allows guests to choose a sitting at the time of booking, whilst ‘As You Wish’ dining goes down the route of flexibility and freedom so you can dine anytime you wish. The Vista Restaurant offers tremendous surroundings with its grand two floor entrance and breathtaking staircase feature.  Deep wood furniture and indulgent décor provides the backdrop for a glamorous evening on board.

Palette Pleasing Gastronomy

Variety is the spice of life and you can choose from a whole range of restaurants aboard MS Noordam. Head over to the truly wonderful Pinnacle Grill and enjoy mouth-watering cuisine with a menu including Sterling Silver Beef and a selection of inspired seafood dishes. Savour the taste of Italian classics with fresh pasta and delicious Tuscan fare at Canaletto; veal, roasted pork loin and grilled fish dishes will appeal to all palettes.

Dress Code

The dress code on board Holland America ships is resort casual during the day with emphasis on relaxation and enjoying your holiday.  Eveningwear consists of either Elegant Casual or Formal Wear.  Formal evenings are often the highlight of a voyage with gentlemen in tuxedos and ladies in modern evening and cocktail wear.
