Norwegian Bliss has been custom built to explore Alaska and will become the youngest cruise ship sailing The Last Frontier, showing you magnificent glaciers, wildlife and history every bit as spectacular as you imagine. Norwegian Bliss will offer a cruising experience as perfect as its name suggests, whether you choose to go wild in Alaska or totally tropical in the Caribbean.
Like her sister ships, Norwegian Bliss will continue the tradition of featuring original artwork on her hull. Designed by leading marine life artist, Wyland, the hull design entitled ‘Cruising with the Whales’ captures the beauty of Alaska, featuring a stunning image of a mother humpback whale and her calf as the centrepiece of the design.
With its 180 degree views, the revolutionary Observation Lounge is where you can find your own slice of paradise.
The crown jewel of Norwegian Bliss’ design will be located at the front of the ship, on deck 15. Spanning 20,000 square feet, the sprawling Observation Lounge will offer a breathtaking experience, with floor-to-ceiling windows that are perfect for catching Caribbean sunset vistas and island views or glimpses of the Alaskan wildlife. Designed with rich woods, a luxurious colour palette of silver and grey, plush sofas and chaise lounges, along with a quartz-topped bar, it isn’t hard to see why the Observation Lounge will be Norwegian Bliss’ crowning glory.
The Haven, Norwegian Cruise Lines’ signature ‘ship-within-a-ship’ concept, will once again adorn the top of the ship with 80 ultra-luxurious suites. The exclusive three-story enclave will feature its very own private restaurant with an outdoor terrace, plus private lounges, a pool with a retractable roof and two whirlpools, a sauna, spa treatments and a sunbathing deck. All suites in the Haven come with a butler and a private concierge, VIP embarkation and disembarkation, reserved seating in the theatre and much more. Each suite will feature crisp modern furnishings, with rich wood tones, custom stonework, marble-topped vanity units and luxurious linens. Those opting for a Deluxe Owner’s Suite will relax in the most indulgent accommodation on board, decorated in clean, contemporary shades of cream and grey.
Whether you decide to spend lazy afternoons with a drink or two by the pool bar or opt to relax in one of the cosy lounges found around the ship, there is nothing quite like letting your worries fade away and making the most of your cruise holiday. Pampering begins in the spa, with Haven guests enjoying exclusive access to The Haven Spa Suite. With easy access to the Spa and Fitness Centre, you’ll come away feeling like a whole new you.
Whether you’ll be cruising as just the two of you or as a family, there is accommodation to suit all on board Norwegian Bliss. Mini-suites are all accented with the finest touches, with some offering bathtubs. The 1,088 Balcony Staterooms will feature soothing, cool tones and 111 Oceanview Staterooms will incorporate large picture windows, so you can take in the spectacular views. Brand new to Norwegian Bliss will be 82 cabins designed and priced for solo travellers. The single staterooms will feature virtual ocean views and will be part of a dedicated space for solo cruisers that is only accessible by key card and features a private lounge. Families are also well accommodated with 374 Inside Staterooms, which include two lower beds that convert to a queen-size bed. Select Inside Staterooms also have up to two additional Pullman beds to accommodate larger families.
