I’m writing this from a beautiful villa on Lake Como, one of my all-time favourite destinations. It’s a superb part of the world, and I’m thrilled to be here for the wedding of some of our best friends.

Last month was slightly softer, with several external factors affecting booking demand. The long overdue hot sunny weather in the latter weeks, election fever that has historically negatively influenced customer confidence, and a notable lack of last-minute price reductions in the marketplace have all played a part.

I’m delighted to share that we’ve had another busy and successful month; our recent bank holiday bonus cashback promotions were a hit, with many of you securing your future holidays.

Once again it has been a busy month here at Bolsover Cruise Club, especially as it’s a key period in the cruise booking calendar!

I hope you all had a great Christmas, I certainly had a lovely time with my family and friends. The travel industry never really stops and so I found myself on call with our emergency phone for Cruise & Stay clients on Christmas Day – but thankfully there were no issues to interrupt the festivities!
