Wow, what a month! With both Cunard and P&O Cruises’ 2026-27 winter cruise programmes going on sale in October, clearly it was going to be a busy month.

I was delighted to see business bounce back strongly in August after a quieter period over the early summer. In particular, our Bank Holiday Up to Triple Cashback event was a huge success.

I’m delighted to share that we’ve had another busy and successful month; our recent bank holiday bonus cashback promotions were a hit, with many of you securing your future holidays.

We’ve experienced a mixed period of weather over the past month, with the arrival of spring bringing the usual combination of sunshine and showers.

Once again it has been a busy month here at Bolsover Cruise Club, especially as it’s a key period in the cruise booking calendar!

Last month, I mentioned how strong business has been, and January has proved as busy as expected. Cunard stands out as the brand with the biggest year-on-year growth in January, and the other interesting development has been our own Cruise & Stay department.

I hope you all had a great Christmas, I certainly had a lovely time with my family and friends. The travel industry never really stops and so I found myself on call with our emergency phone for Cruise & Stay clients on Christmas Day – but thankfully there were no issues to interrupt the festivities!

This will be my final message in 2023, so I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
