Title: Caribbean 8Feb-22Feb Summary: Yes Azura very tired seetee in our cabin should have been scraped, dinning room furniture worn no padding on seat edges. Food quality has declined,on some evenings not edible and should not have left the galley. Entertainment with few exceptions was poor, sail aways without entertainment team a waste of time. Staff levels in dining room have obviously been reduced This is not the P& O of the past declined since Carnival took over, there is far...

Title: Another Azura success. Summary: Travelled to Azura in Barbados on Virgin Atlantic from Manchester, a rescheduled flight after Thomas Cook ceased trading. A wonderful flight experience in both directions. Arriving on board we were welcomed with the usual friendliness, good food and high standards everywhere. Yes we knew that Azura is waiting for a refit but despite some shabbier areas of carpet, the state of painting on our balcony and on the outside of the promenade deck was as...

Title: Jean Baker and Roy Walton Summary: The cruise was wonderful, visited some lovely Islands apart from Grand Turk. The beach at the terminal was excellent but the town centre we found did not exist. No complaints about the other islands. We had an organised trip to nelsons dockyard and Shirley heights also the blockhouse. This was an excellent trip. Our only problem was as we came into Manchester to land. The pilot had to abort twice and we ended up in...

Title: Smoking aboard Summary: Ship going in for refit and it needs it.Not the best lay out generally the worst features being the Manhattan Show Lounger which, due to the several pillars has far too many obstructed view seats. The seating around Brodies Bar is also not practicable and needs opening out so as to be more inclusive. main general point however concerns the on board designated smoking areas.Firstly onm deck 14 one of these is on the starboard side...

Title: Caribbean Islands Summary: Azura is due to have a refit shortly and to be honest it is showing its age. It was also a very noisy ship, with VERY loud music on the sun deck and an outside cinema which was also very loud. Difficult to find somewhere for a quiet sit down. The itinerary was changed because the ship needed repairs which had to be done in Martinique and we enjoyed the day on that island. Unfortunately...

Title: Caribbean Holiday Summary: Every day was a new experience for us, we throughly enjoyed it, the ship was tired, and we found it was going to have a refit, the staff were fantastic, I was pleased to see they had non alcoholic beers for me this was a hit, for me, as I cannot drink alcohol due to my medical reasons, but I thought non alcoholic wine should have been also available in the evening with our meal...

Title: Carribean Azura Summary: I had my first carribean cruise on Azura just before Christmas and it was fabulous! The ship looked wonderful all festively decorated, the staff couldn’t do enough, I was very impressed with the entertainment and the food was sublime. I loved being on top deck enjoying a few cocktails, taking in the atmosphere and basking in the carribean sunshine. The level of service from all the staff made it a truly special & wonderful holiday!

Title: Caribbean Bliss – 11.1.20-25.1.20 Summary: We had an excellent cruise on the Azura. The overall service was excellent, together with the food and comfort of our cabin. The Caribbean beaches were beautiful. Brilliant for swimming and snokelling. However Azura is definitely ready for a refit in certain areas of the ship, but still had a brilliant holiday overall. Looking forward to cruising on Azura in 2021!

Title: A bit windy out there Summary: Overall, another good cruise in the Caribbean on Azura, though the strong winds affected the itineray, with St Vincent replaced by Martinique and St Kitts postponed from the first week to the second. Good flight out from Birmingham (unlike the Saturday before which had been postponed from Saturday to Sunday). We were on the first bus out of the airport, and were in our cabin less than an hour after touchdown. We like Azura and...

Title: Disappointing Cabin Summary: Returned from another Azura Caribbean cruise on 25th Jan.Food and service was excellent, entertainment few good acts but the rest were mediocre so overall should be better. HOWEVER a problem with the cabin ( E519 ) temperature. It was uncomfortably warm all the time. Reported four times and checked by an engineer who stated that after the check 23 degrees as a minimum temperature was acceptable? It was very uncomfortable to try to sleep and...

Title: Huge disappointment! Summary: Our recent holiday on the Azura was a massively disappointing experience. The ship is scheduled for a refurbishment ( long overdue). There was a permanent stench in various parts of the ship even in the lifts. In general the staff were pleasant but there seemed to be an underlying tiredness as some staff were reaching the end of there contracts. Our balcony was out of commission for a day whilst undergoing painting, leaving splashes of...

Title: Standards Summary: This is 3rd time on this ship and we feel the standards have dropped. One night asked for cheese & biscuits, there were 3 small pieces of cheese to chose from. Years ago the waiters served from one side, cleared from another, as it should be, now it was served to two people from one side. You could never find a waiter on deck to order a drink, so they have cut down on staff....

Title: enjoyable but with a few niggles Summary: To start with the positives, the cabin and steward were good. Richard brought ice every day as requested and kept the cabin in good order. The food in the Meridian was enjoyable and the service was good. Could do with a few more wine waiters but cut backs are evident. Didn’t think much to the quality of food from the grab and go fridge or pizza bar. Thought the entertainment wasn’t as good as on...

Title: Tired ship Summary: This was our first time on Azura having previously been on Britannia. We were on the ship over the New Year. Azura was very tired and is definitely in need of the refit that it due in April. A lot of areas including some cabins need attention. I think that the staff must be fed up with people commenting because some of the time they are just not interested. We had to have our meals...

Title: Disappointing in some areas Summary: I have to say we were disappointed in our recent New Year Cruise on Azura. She is very tired looking both inside and out. Our cabin had seen better days and the carpet was badly stained and no underlay in areas. Our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned on our arrival but was soon rectified, but this shouldn’t have happened. The food in the MDR was good, hot and plentiful but service was slow on some evenings....

Title: Enjoyed Summary: We really enjoyed our cruise the food was excellent as was our cabin steward Vincy and Gerald and Chris in the glass house they all really looked after us so well. Yes I agree the ship is a little tired but it was clean and comfortable. We only went to two shows one was ok but the other wasn’t as good as we hoped. We had taxis to beaches which were reasonable priced and the...

Title: Average Summary: Azura needs an upgrade/renovation as there are various places such as spa area changing facilities (including sauna and steam room) that are well past their best. Food in main restaurants is very much average, with meat overcooked and dry. Service is still very good. I also note that Seascreen no longer screens premiership league football matches (PO policy decision!) which I find amazing from past experience as it was always difficult to find a free...
