Title: Falling standards Summary: Sailed to the Caribbean. Captain was sooo funny and friendly. Every meal we had was excellent. Staff not as friendly as they used to be. Best service was in Oriental restaurant. I think p and o are letting standards drop re dress code especially in self service restaurants. Half promenade deck was available to smokers.

Title: Nice ship, nice holiday, nice overall experience Summary: Nice ship, had a lovely time – a little tired but apparently is going in for a refit soon. We did notice in the restaurant that the staff were not as friendly as they had been on previous cruises, in fact 2 waiters were extremely rude to us on two separate occasions! However this did not spoil our enjoyment. Our steward was amazing – Marx on A deck – fabulous – nothing too much trouble...

Title: Chav tastic Summary: Food in dining room at night was very bland. I paid for a day cabin on last day but 3 times the key card was faulty had to que 3 times at 20 minutes at a time. Entertainment was rubbish but there was a guitar player and singer in the atrium that was amazing. Rescheduled Virgin flight was a 40 year old 747 that was most uncomfortable and we landed at the wrong terminal meaning...

Title: Cruise to Canaries. Summary: An excellent cruise with no bad experience to record. All the ships crew were wonderful, always smiling and the service was excellent. Super food as always and generally good entertainment, although two comedians were very weak. The checking on process is so smooth and easy and the disembarkation is always easy as well.

Title: Tired and dull. Summary: The clue is in the title, tired and dull. This was our first cruise for a long time the previous one having been on a Princess line ship and it was difficult not to compare. Everything seemed to be very brown and beige and very tired looking, there wasn’t the ‘sparkle’ that we had been expecting. Our shower tray had a crack in it and the shower curtain kept coming adrift. In the Brodie’s bar...

Title: Canary Islands on P&O Azura Summary: My wife and I were on a 13-night cruise to the Canary Islands on the Azura, in early October. As shown above, the whole cruise was fine. I had 3 main courses that were not to my taste and 2 desserts that were also not upto standard, which is very commendable, over 13 nights! The cabin decor was not as I would have expected and I mentioned it to the Ship’s management. I understand the...

Title: First class holiday to the Canary islands Summary: The Captain and ALL his staff and crew were wonderful. The Azura is a beautiful ship but looking really tired, in desperate need of its refit. Disappointed with our superior deluxe cabin ,my wife never sat on the sofa as it looked really shabby also stains on the chairs and carpets. The Venezia buffet area needs to be updated like the Britannia and the Aurora . Disappointed that P&O have done away with the Costa...

Title: A very tired ship Summary: A very tired ship, has the feeling of an outdated and on its last legs holiday camp. Lost count of the number of ‘tribute’ acts, very cheap and not very cheerful. Speciality restaurants have slipped down a peg or two compared with Britannia. Biggest disappointment was the Ligurian luncheon, as P&O’s top loyalty tier this was supposed to be hosted by senior officers, our host was a young dancer from the Headliners Dance Company, apparently...

Title: A disappointed passenger…this time. Summary: My Wife and I have been cruising with P&O, via Bolsover Travel Company for almost 30 years. At least half a dozen on the Azure. Our last cruise was a disappointment for a number of reasons. It appears now, P&O cruises are much more profit/price lead than in the past at the expense of customer experience….and it is obvious! Long gone are the little ‘freebees’ like tit bits at the bar or little tubs of ice...

Title: Just what we needed Summary: From the moment of arriving at Southampton the cruise met our expectations to the full, until the disembarkation which was chaotic. However, the 19 night voyage to the Greek Islands was “top dollar” & could not be faulted. We have taken many cruises over the years & this one was up there with the best. Well done P & O. Looking forward to the next one on Iona next year.

Title: Disappointed Summary: One of the ports on the itinerary was changed to a Tender and as usual we did not get into the port. The substitute port was very dirty and a disappointment. Messina was awful, dirty, untidy and not up to the usual standard. After next year we will review our cruise company as P & O are reducing their standards.

Title: Smoking policy Summary: Azura is a tired ship and in need of some TLC. We have just arrived back today and have been very disappointed at the amount of smoking on board. Deck 15 starboard stinks of stale smoke as do the cabins on 15 and the corridor. Horrible. PO need to be brave and ban smoking. They have for some reason stopped children without a loss of revenue so do the same for smoking.

Title: Fantastic family cruise Summary: We travelled as a family and the ship’s facilities are fantastic for families. The movies under the stars screen was a real hit with us all. It was great to be watching the latest disney films whilst sunbathing around the pool. They also had early night showings as well, where they would give out blankets so you could watch films under the stars. The children’s clubs were amazing !!! I really cannot stress how they...

Title: Brilliant Summary: A brilliant 2-night taster cruise on Azura. A very clean ship with a great selection of good food and friendly staff. My only criticism is formal night was on the second night so we ended up queueing for nearly an hour to get on a screen to choose our photos. Then had to queue the next morning to get them which delayed our disembarkation. If the formal night had been on the first night we...

Title: Brilliant Summary: My sister and her husband joined my wife and I on this two week cruise. They loved it, we loved it. We could not fault it from booking with Bolsover to arriving at Southampton it was all seamless. staff on board ship were exceptional in what they did for us. My wife and sister raved about the entertainment. Fine dining was outstanding. On the whole, I would recommend this cruise and travel agent.
