Most cruise lines offer loyalty benefits for passengers, with examples including priority embarkation and disembarkation, Wi-Fi packages, drinks packages, access to exclusive areas on board, invitations to cocktail parties and drinks receptions, discounts on purchases made on board and discounts on cruise bookings (benefits vary between cruise lines).
Each cruise line applies tiers to its benefit system. For example, P&O Cruises operates its Peninsular Club, which works on a tier-based system. You will acquire points for every night sailed, which equate to being in the Pacific, Atlantic, Mediterranean and Caribbean tiers. The Baltic and Ligurian tiers are reserved for those who have travelled at least 80 nights with the cruise line. Those in higher tiers receive the most onboard benefits.
