Enchantment of the Seas has grown to become an ever favourite amongst the Royal Caribbean fleet and the aptly name cruise vessel really does encompass everything her name sets out. Go head to head with like-minded cruise passengers and race them to the top, try and beat your personal best or just conquer you’ll old aged fear of heights – just make sure that you don’t lose your footing as you’ll have to start all over again.
Elsewhere on board you can soar high into the air on one of the Bungee Trampolines that sit at the front of Deck 10 for unbeatable views. Wave to fellow passengers below, do a backflip, a spin or some other fancy move and just have a thoroughly good time.
If you’d rather keep both of your feet firmly on the ground but like the idea of get your heart racing (though less fun but great for your fitness levels), run laps around the ship, all at your own pace and take in some of the best views around. You can even follow the quarter-mile jogging path of The Vita Course where you’ll find four fitness zones that focus on stretching, cardio, agility and toning.
The young and old will be united in the Video Arcade where everyone’s playing to win. With classic games such as Pacman and table hockey to the more recent games like Guitar Hero and Fast and Furious, you’re guaranteed to find most of the Dad’s in here. Ladies, if you’re in the mood for shopping you’ll find the centrum shops on deck 6 where distinctive storefronts offer an array of merchandise from logo items to jewellery, perfume and more. If art is more your thing, then pick up a painting from the Art Auction Gallery.
The glitzy 10-story glass Centrum hosts live performances, dancing and has two see-through glass elevators so you never miss a thing. Theatre productions will have you dancing to the beat with their sensational Broadway style shows in the two-tiered Orpheum Theatre.
Follow the beat of the night and head to one of the glitzy bars and lounges that are scattered around. Boleros Lounge is perfect for those who love the Latin beat and can cool down with a mojito or caipirinha before heading elsewhere on deck. You can let the dancing commence in the Spotlight Lounge while over in the Schooners Bar you can enjoy a drink with friends in this perfectly nautical themed bar. Perched high above the ocean, you can dance the night away in this lively dance club that offers spectacular vistas by day and night.
Want to experience a 1960s vibe? Head to the all-new R Bar and taste one of the drinks specials that have specially been created to complement the Centrum’s nightly theme. Classic cocktails, martini, gin, whiskey and more will also be served by the ship’s resident mixologist.
Soak up the beauty of the Main Dining Room, known as My Fair Lady, and enjoy the attentive service and flexible dining times where you can choose from a wide variety of menu items. Choose between the Traditional Dining or My Time Dining options. Traditional Dining provides a serenity of haven for guests to have the peace of mind that the same table will be waiting for them night after night. If you’re looking for a little more freedom, then you will love the concept of My Time Dining where you can dine anytime between the hours of 6pm and 9.30pm.
The dining choices don’t stop there; Chops Grill is the delectable signature restaurant throughout the Royal Caribbean fleet, offering an incredible array of grill dishes that will get your taste buds tingling with delight.
