With numerous industry firsts at sea, Quantum of the Seas made her eagerly anticipated debut into the world of cruising in 2014, becoming one of the most innovative and ground breaking cruise vessels ever built.
Quantum of the Seas sails through some of the most sought after destinations in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Bermuda, including the Royal Caribbean exclusive private island of Labadee and CocoCay. Experience her stunning features and make the Quantum leap forward in cruising, for a revolutionary and unforgettable holiday.
Quantum of the Seas spans over 15 decks, boasting many incredible WOW innovations for all the family. This phenomenal new ship from Royal Caribbean has delivered the most spectacular firsts at sea and continues the Royal Caribbean tradition of never ceasing to amaze.
Discover the ground breaking North Star, which lifts passengers 300ft in the air and out over the sea for stunning panoramic views. Adrenaline junkies can take on the challenge of the 40-foot-long surf simulator FlowRider, to ride the waves without leaving the ship. Build up the courage to climb to the top of the rock climbing wall and you’ll be rewarded with some of the best views on board. The fun doesn’t stop there, as you can take on the first ever sky diving simulator at sea, iFly from Ripcord, to give you the experience, pure thrill and exhilaration of flying. The most exciting and anticipated venue has to be SeaPlex, the largest indoor entertainment space ever to appear on a cruise ship. This exciting venue offers passengers bumper cars, flying trapeze, roller skating and circus school lessons during the day, while by night, SeaPlex transforms into a fantastic night spot with a floating DJ and a food truck nearby.
Unwind, relax and discover a new you at the Vitality Spa and Fitness Centre. A blissful retreat away from the livelier areas on board, the adults-only pool, holistic spa-services, and out-of-this-world fitness facilities are some of the best at sea.
Lose yourself in the multi-level thoroughfare of the Royal Esplanade, which sits at the heart of the ship, lined with charmed boutiques, bars and restaurants. Shop brands including Kiehl’s, Michael Kors, Regalia and Tag Heuer, or relax with fine wines, culinary classics and leisurely moments in The Via; an enclave of cosy areas and dining venues that lies just beyond the Royal Esplanade.
You needn’t worry about keeping the little ones entertained; Quantum of the Seas has this all figured out in their award-winning Adventure Ocean Youth Programmes. From tots to teens, there is plenty to keep them happy from the moment they step on board.
A big hit with families is the mini water park at sea over at the H2O Zone; brightly coloured sculptures spray water in all directions, coupled with interactive fountains, water cannons, two hot tubs and more for a fun filled day. A dedicated pool for infants and toddlers ensures that your little ones can still join in the fun, with plenty of handy deck chairs nearby to keep a watchful eye.
Family favourite Dreamworks® characters from classic movies including How To Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar and Shrek will all be on board, with children invited to join them for photos, children-only teas and exclusive shows.
Quantum of the Seas comes to life when the sun goes down, with must see musical and theatrical performances. Before heading to Two70 or the Music Hall we recommend that you take a visit to the Bionic Bar; this brand new innovation is exclusive to the Royal Caribbean International and sees two ‘bionic bartenders’ mix your cocktail from scratch thanks to top range technology.
The Royal Theatre sets the scene for awesome performances of the smash hit musical Mamma Mia and the epic fusion of music, performers and innovation of the Sonic Odyssey show. For a more intimate setting head to Music Hall and enjoy live dancing, live bands and signature parties. Experience the most spectacular views at sea in the brand new Two70 entertainment venue, with vast floor-to-ceiling windows spanning over two and half decks. The seamless fusion of technology and entertainment transforms the expansive 270 degree ocean views within seconds, taking you from sunset vistas, to starry skies and underwater scenes all in the space of a single performance.
Quantum of the Seas delivers the most flexible dining options at sea, with more speciality restaurants than ever before. This remarkable cruise ship allows you to explore a whole new culinary world, never experienced before at sea, with the introduction of Dynamic Dining. This new dining programme gives you the flexibility to shape your culinary experience to your own specific tastes, with no set dinner times or ship-wide formal nights.
There are now eighteen enticing dining venues to choose from, all with their very own distinct style, menu and atmosphere. The Main Dining Room has been reimagined as five main restaurants, all of which are complimentary to you. To help with the revolutionary approach to dining at sea, three celebrity chefs have also joined the crew; one of Britain’s favourite food experts, Jamie Oliver, brings aboard his passion for Italian food with rustic, homemade favourites at Jamie’s Italian. You will find a menu of quality and simple plates with the choice of home grown craft beers over at Michael’s Genuine® Pub from James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz. The final celebrity chef, Devin Alexander, welcomes Devinly™ Decadence to the Solarium Bistro with a menu full of fresh and healthy home-style dishes. Passengers who prefer a more formal dining experience should dine at The Grande, where a sophisticated atmosphere means every night is formal night.
With a choice of pastries, snacks and sandwiches available from the Café Promenade 24/7, and Royal Caribbean favourites including the Windjammer Marketplace buffet, Johnny Rockets and Sorrentos all present, Quantum of the Seas offers a whole plethora of dining options to tempt her guests. Make the most of the variety on offer by dining at a different restaurant each night of your cruise!
Quantum of the Seas unveiled the next generation of cruise ship accommodation. Everything down to the fine details of fabric, contemporary art and finishes has been designed with comfort in mind.
Single passengers are catered for with Studio staterooms as well as Studio Balcony cabins. Suite availability includes luxurious Loft Suites, spanning two floors and offering an incredible amount of interior and veranda space. The Family Connected Junior Suite gives families separate bedrooms and bathrooms, so everyone has their own space. Virtual Balcony Staterooms are the most exciting new addition to the Royal Caribbean fleet, using innovative technology to project real time sea views into Inside Stateroom guests. Passengers who have previously considered an inside stateroom but preferred being able to see out will love this new feature.
The dress code on-board Quantum of the Seas primarily revolves around smart casual. Casual attire can be worn throughout the day with a call for smart casual during the evenings. With the introduction to Dynamic Dining there are no set formal nights on board the ship, though guests who do prefer a formal dining experience can dine at The Grande, where formal dress and an elegant atmosphere mean every night is formal night.
