Boasting tasteful décor, two acres of glass canopies, skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows, Rhapsody of the Seas is a light and airy cruise ship that has won the hearts of many who have sailed aboard her. Unlike her sister ship’s she’s not dominated by an ice skating rink, RipCord, Flowrider or even a Boardwalk Neighbourhood, but that doesn’t lessen the fun that she has to offer as she is still hugely popular with families.
We’re happy to announce that Smart technology is now on board Rhapsody of the Seas! Whether it’s your first, second or tenth cruise aboard Rhapsody of the Seas, it’s still easy to forget your way from time to time, but fear not, as the digital touch Wayfinder Signs now changes all that. Not only are the Touchscreen Wayfinder Signs fun to play with, they allow you keep up to date with all the latest events in real time minutes, even bringing up the nightly menus for each dining room.
» Main hub of entertainment in the Centrum
» Digital ‘Wayfinder’ signs to help you find your way around ship

» Main pool, solarium, whirlpool, spa, gym and rock climbing wall
» Chop’s Grill, Giovanni’s Table, Windjammer Café, Main Dining Room and more
Head poolside and cool yourself off with a dip in the main pool or take your pick from one of the four hot tubs that flank the pools border. Don’t forget to look up as hoisted high above the pool is the Outdoor Movie Screen that plays sporting games by day and blockbuster hit movies by night. The Outdoor Movie Screen is a big hit with all ages, especially at night and it’s not hard to see why as it’s not every day that you get to watch movies under the stars. Alternatively, you can make your way up the adults-only retreat of the Solarium where you can bathe in an oasis of calm and peace that has an indoor/outdoor pool area with a retracting glass canopy roof that will protect in inclement weather.
Elsewhere, the rock climbing wall that is ready and waiting for those who want to reach the ultimate height of fun. If you do manage to climb your way to the top, you’ll be treated to some of the best views on the ship.
Soaring six decks high, you have to pass the Centrum to get just about anywhere on ship and you’ll find it hard to not get drawn in by its allure day or night. Cooking classes, games and activities are hosted in the Centrum by day, and by night aerial acrobats put on a show stopping show, making it extremely hard to just walk on by without staying until the end.
Rhapsody of the Seas may not be full of notorious flavours or feature celebrity chefs like the Quantum Class ships in fleet, but she still has a lot to bring to the table. You can choose from the classic signature steakhouse venue of Chop’s Grill, which serves nothing less than prime cuts steaks, seafood and delicious side dishes in a contemporary and upscale setting. Perhaps you’d prefer the flavours of Italian cuisine? Giovanni’s Table serves family-style flavours with a contemporary flair, with the menu featuring toasted herb focaccia, pasta, stew, braised meat and more. Alternatively, you can impress your taste buds with fresh, delicate and pure ingredients of traditional Japanese cuisine in Izumi. Popular dishes on the menu in Izumi include sushi rolls, sashimi, their Hot Rock Ishiyaki Plate and more.
Though the food is outstanding and the service is first-class in the main dining room of Edelweiss, why not take a seat in Royal Caribbean’s most exclusive venue of the Chef’s Table? If you like to class yourself as a foodie, then this is definitely a venue that you should be on the top of your list. With no more than 16 guests, you can savour a five course meal that will be accompanied with fine wines and presented to you by the executive chef on board. Before you dig into your five course meal you will also get to enjoy an aperitif at a cocktail party before your main meal.
Do you really like the sound of the Chef’s Table? Make sure that you make a reservation early, as spaces tend to fill up and fast and we really wouldn’t like to see you miss out.
