Athens to Dubai through the Suez Canal

Our 4th cruise with Azamara and in terms of itinerary one of the most interesting. Ports included Safaga (for Luxor, where we did an overnight tour) and Aqaba from where we could visit Petra and the Wadi Rum desert. Oman was a real surprise – it manages to combine traditional with modern really well. Fascinating.
The Azamara Journey was well maintained, spotlessly clean. The overall entertainment was excellent for a small ship and the crew were friendly and helpful throughout. The more inclusive nature of the offering means that House wines, some spirits, tea, coffee, soft drinks & water are all included. This model is one that we really like and combined with smaller ship size means that I am sure we will return to Azamara in the future. The addition of P&O’s Adonia (Azamara Pursuit) to the fleet next year will give added flexibility to Azamara’ offering which is good news.
