Simply the best cruise ship ever.Small is best every member of the crew from the housekeeping young ladies to the captain could not do enough for you.
The flight to Rome was effortless as I have mobility problems all my needs were met by BA.When we arrived in the Rome we had to wait
half an hour for the coach and two passengers” did not hear “the guides instructions and went and had lunch so the half hour turned into an hour!The registration for the ship was effortless and took minutes.We were welcomed aboard with a glass champagne and shown to our cabin the cabins are small and the bathroom smaller just as stated in the brochure but it was wonderful to have the balcony which we spent some time when in the overnight ports in the evening watching the world go by .The food on board was wonderful we have given ten out of ten for all venues we did not visit the speciality as there was really no need. the drinks package suited our needs so we did not upgrade.The visit to Italy was especially wonderful as a tenor came aboard to sing so him and the balmy evening made it a night to remember.At all ports the chef went shopping in the local markets and purchased local cheeses hams breads etc and a buffet was arranged on board.The white evening was a night to remember a tremendous buffet and entertainment and nearly every passenger dressed in white I could go on and on.The only fly in the ointment was an eight hour wait in Rome airport for our flight it was horrendous no were to sit and then the plane delayed for another hour with an engine fault but even this could not fault our Wonderful cruise on the AZAMARA JOURNEY
