Istanbul to Athens ,November 2014

We have recently returned from a cruise on the Azamara Quest from Istanbul to Athens.
It is nearly 2 years since the last of our 5 previous cruises with Azamara .We were delighted to find that the on board standard of service ,quality of food and friendliness of the staff remain as high as ever.
Just a couple of little niggles :-
1. There were no Azamara staff members to assist us on our arrival at the Port of Istanbul and no sign of the advertised sparkling wine reception.
2. There was a very large organised group on board and for us this spoilt the dynamics of smaller cruise ship sailing.
Overall the cruise was very good but fell short of the holiday experience we enjoyed on previous Azamara cruises.
We are booked again on a cruise with the Azamara Journey next year and hope Azamara Cruises will return to their best form.
