 Azamara Club Cruises Reviews

Azamara ships are not too big and they’re not too small. Their mid-sized ships have a genial club-like atmosphere, and with a maximum of 690 guests on each ship, staff and crew can quickly learn your name, tastes, and preferences, too. Sailing into places larger cruise lines can’t make your next voyage one with Azamara Club Cruises.

Amazing Holiday

We would never have considered Azamara as an option when booking a cruise, we love to travel with Princess and Royal Caribbean, I telephoned Bolsover and spoke with Noel requesting a last minute cruise from Barcelona on possibly the Symphony of the Seas. There was no availability on our chosen dates but Noel suggested Azamara, we were a bit dubious at first given the size of the ship, but when we learned of itinerary and...

Adriatic and Mediterranean Treasures

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Quest Reviews

Azamara lived up to its name and reputation. Food and wine always excellent and the crew as ever, were patient, caring, courteous and always smiling. Very professional. We visited some very good and beautiful ports. The only downside was the exorbitant cost of excursions. This has led passengers to use their ingenuity to seek other ways and means to do the same trips but at much lower costs. An almost identical, excursion at Kotor costing...

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Quest Reviews

50 cruises later we so enjoy Azamara but for us who like at least 3 cruises a year it has become expensive due to the us and Aussie market. We would sail again if circumstances change. The service is where the company excel and successful win, especially with no tipping. The drinks package is very good food in the restaurant and choices again are all we need and l am a very fussy diner.you can...

8 Night Iberian Adventure that exceeded our expectations

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Quest Reviews

8 Night Iberian Adventure that exceeded our expectations Embarkation – Having taken the early flight from London Heathrow, we were soon in the pre-booked taxi from Lisbon airport to the cruise terminal which didn’t take too long and cost 26 euros. Check in was empty, we got our cruise cards and were ready to board. There was about a 15-minute wait and we boarded so all very seamless. We had a little lunch and lay...

Some disappointments
By Jacqueline Hathaway on 03 May 2018
Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Journey Reviews

This was a back to back (3rd & 4th Azamara Cruise). Despite the excellent high standard in some areas, we were disappointed with many aspects of this cruise. Firstly all ports were container ports requiring shuttles (1 tender port) and most at least 1.5 hours from the actual towns/cities making a very long journey to get anywhere. No singers and dancers but an opera group and very poor guest entertainers except for Kym Purling a...

Returned last week from the Sydney to Singapore cruise, which was the first leg of the World Journey. Great itinerary including Brisbane, Barrier Reef and Darwin, en route to Singapore via Bali. The officers and crew were fantastic as usual, always going the extra mile to help with anything they could to enhance our cruising experience. I had a food intolerance and the restaurant staff, plus our butler, could not do enough to help me....

Azamara 25th January to 8th February
By Chris Mee on 19 February 2018
Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Quest Reviews

We chose Azamara as had sailed with them before and therefore had certain expectations. In every respect, they lived up to our previous cruise. The one thing that defines Azamara are the crew. From the Officers to the odd time you bump into an engineer the whole focus is on the passengers. Food, wether it was the buffet to the specialty restaurants, always maintained a high standard and great selection. They are getting pricey and...

Almost excellent
By Peter Tear on 08 February 2018
Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Journey Reviews

We have just returned from our first cruise on the Azamara Journey. The staff are so friendly and efficient. The food is top-quality fine dining. The service in the restaurant, bars, and the stateroom is excellent. Everywhere is immaculately clean. Apart from one or two areas needing a coat of fresh paint, my real negative is the lack of discipline regarding dress in the restaurant. I know that some people prefer smart casual instead of...

Athens to Dubai through the Suez Canal

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Journey Reviews

Our 4th cruise with Azamara and in terms of itinerary one of the most interesting. Ports included Safaga (for Luxor, where we did an overnight tour) and Aqaba from where we could visit Petra and the Wadi Rum desert. Oman was a real surprise – it manages to combine traditional with modern really well. Fascinating. The Azamara Journey was well maintained, spotlessly clean. The overall entertainment was excellent for a small ship and the crew...

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Journey Reviews

This was the best cruise I have done, 17 nights from Athens to Dubai via the Suez Canal (have done 12 to date). Azamara have done a good job with the refit, and kept very clean throughout. There was a good mixture of nationalities, the largest number were American, very closely followed by British, Canadians, Australians, Kiwis, French, Russian and a few others. There were 69 solo passengers. To me these ships are an ideal...

All the ports visited on this cruise were really lovely, especially in Croatia. As the ship is small, there was no waiting to go ashore either in tenders or at the docks. The food is excellent, and the inclusive drinks are great as you have no added shocks when the final bill arrives! As gratuities are also included, the staff are very well trained and look after you knowing that they do not receive extra...

This was our first cruise with Azamara, usually we go with Celebrity. The staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. We liked the smaller feel of the ship which meant less ques at the restaurants and getting on and off the ship. The azamazing eventing was very enjoyable and beautifully organised and executed. The almost all inclusive aspect of the cruise was excellent. The passengers were slightly younger than many on the celebrity...

Myself and partner have recently returned form a cruise on board Azamara Journey. We had a great time and found the staff were very good and could not do enough to help. We really enjoyed the small ship feel as we have previously sailed on the larger ships with Royal Caribbean and P&O. We never queued for anything it was brilliant especially the tenders as on other ships we have been on because they have...

Simply the best cruise ship ever.Small is best every member of the crew from the housekeeping young ladies to the captain could not do enough for you. Excellent destination and good ports of call in New Zealand. The land excursions were good and the New Zealanders provided excellent tour guides. The ship is a good size and a little worn and is going for refit in two months . The service and cleanliness of the ship is excellent. However for a so called 4/5 star cruising experience the food was disappointing. There is too little fresh food, had to put up with...

This was our first trip with Azamara Quest. A nice, small and compact ship. A little over 600 passengers with 400 crew – a very good ratio. Booking-in was efficient. Cabin with balcony was compact and comfortable. Facilities onboard were very good – something to suit everyones taste. The crew were extremely friendly and ready to help with any problem (if any). Captain Carl, a Brit, was entertaining and approachable. Our trips were well organised....

I was very impressed with Azamaraƒ??s staff, they were always happy to help and really couldnƒ??t do enough for us. The food was amazing and the waiters would always advise which wine to have with each course. Our cabin stewards were great we had a queen bed but needed a twin we didnƒ??t see them straight away but left a note on the bed and when we returned from evening meal we had twin beds....

We have been on over 50 cruises, and this cruise exceeded our expectations. We chose to hire local guides , and as we are over 70,several friends thought we were eccentric , and advised us not to do so . It was simply an amazing experience , as we were able to get into the local culture and cuisine. The main attraction was to see the historical vestiges of the American war , but of...
