Stefan Skibicki | January 1, 2017 | Celebrity Cruises | Celebrity Eclipse
This was our second trip to the Mediterranean with Celebrity. What a fine ship Eclipse is. We had a drinks package as we know from experience that drinks are expensive.
We were a little disappointed with the variety of rood on the menu in the main dining room, they could do with spicing it up a little. We visited both Murano’s and Quisine and found that both were excellent. Our wine waiter and the staff in the dining room were all excellent.
Disappointed with the dress code as smart casual seems to be in many cases jeans and a T shirt which is a shame when most people make the effort to look smart. Also lack of dress code on formal nights was disappointing (Either do it properly or not at all).
Shuttle buses are a rip off as alternative transport can be arranged quite cheaply. (Cunard do not charge for shuttle buses in my experience).
Overall a very pleasant experience.
