Another great cruise on Millennium and with Celebrity

We have cruised on Millennium several times and with Celebrity overall about 8 times. Without a doubt for us they have the best staff in the business. We had 2 weeks this time around China, South Korea and Japan. Loved the refitted ship in general though ocean view cabin was a bit bland and a few niggles like a kettle but nowhere sensible to plug it in! Food, service and cleanliness around the ship were excellent as always with celebrity. We got married on board and they couldn’t have done any more for us going above and beyond to give us a special day and holiday. From the ceremony to the photos and all the little extras after the wedding day the whole experience was beyond our expectations.

Ships tours were all good and the overnight to Beijing was fabulous not least the 6 star hotel, we only wished we had more time to enjoy it. Je ju island was disappointing but we didn’t do a trip, I would recommend anyone going there to organize something as there’s not much to do if you just wander on your own as we did.

Tuscan grill was fab and we tried qsine for the first time which was amazing.

What makes this ship is the crew especially Captain Alex whose daily announcements were so funny, and he is the only captain we’ve ever seen on the gangway saying goodbye to everybody as they disembarked. Overall a fabulous cruise and the best way to spend our wedding day and honeymoon.
