South East Asia (Noodles)

It was Millennium’s maiden voyage after a refurbishment. The ship wasn’t really ready and consequently there were many complaints. The main problem we had was returning to the cabin each day to find that the electric power was off and having to go to reception to complain to get it back on. The problem was not solved until the fifth day of the cruise. However we did receive compensation in the form of a credit allowance for a future cruise.. There were other minor problems which could be expected on a maiden voyage.
One rather serious matter was that all the bars ran out of tonic on the last night, rather unfortunate for gin drinkers!!
Having said all the above, the ship is beautifully refurbished and when the snagging has been sorted out it will be a pleasure to sail in her.
We thoroughly enjoyed Singapore and it is a place we may well go back to in the future. Vietnam was fascinating and we particularly enjoyed the visit to the Mecon Delta.
