Italy and Greek Islands

We have done many cruises but this was our first time on Celebrity and we were quite disappointed.
The destination itinerary was everything we had booked for but we found the ship underwhelming.
We booked concierge cabins which were smaller than we expected with little storage and our daughter, husband and two children in theirs were so squashed that we had one of the children in with us.
Service varied from excellent individuals to staff that couldn’t really care and were clearly under pressure especially in the main restaurants and bars.
Anytime dining was a nightmare ending up with a choice of 6pm or 9.15 the same as the traditional sittings.
We used speciality dining whilst on board. Tuscan grill was good, the Lawn grill nothing special but booked Qsine for the children as advertised as ‘interactive’. This however only meant the menu was on an iPad, nothing else and the food was too many small portions of many different cuisines, all a bit odd.
The movies in the cinema were old. We had seen the same films on P&O in February, and the same few films were on the TV in the cabin.
Our children do not like the kids clubs on board as they are split in age groups and find them a bit childish if they are the older ones in that group. They therefore just had the pool or the computer games room and the arcade for entertainment.
There was no tea making facilities in the cabin so we either had to get up, dress and go up to the buffet and bring one back for an early morning cuppa or decide the night before what time you would be waking in the morning and order room service. We therefore ended up ordering breakfast with the tea. This was served as individual items on massive plates for which there was no room in the cabin to put down and was never correct with not enough cups, cutlery missing, hard boiled eggs, ordered soft, with no egg cups, no milk for the tea, etc, etc.
Overall we loved the ports of call and our choice of tours but would not sail Celebrity again.
