Italy & the Greek Isles May 2018

A lovely ship, the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Destinations we loved most of them particularly the Isle of Capri when docked at Naples.

Would have preferred a day at sea for the first day just to familiarise ourselves with the ship. Booked an Aqua Class cabin which was lovely with a big balcony and gave us access to Blu restaurant. Included in our cost was a classic drinks package but on hindsight, it would have been better to upgrade to a premium package prior to the cruise! If you like a drink then this is beneficial as to pay as you go is expensive. This was our first fly cruise but it presented no problem, everything was very well organised from airport to port and boarding the ship, the same on departure. Unlike other cruises we have done we did not get a final printed statement of our spend – it was just to be viewed on the TV and if we had a criticism we would prefer to be given signed tabs as we spent, so had something to check against. We enjoy an early morning cup of tea but there was no facility in the room to make your own – it had to be room service for everything. Taking the whole experience and the quality of the food etc. we would definitely use Celebrity again.
