Amsterdam to rome

Went as two couples staying in Amsterdam for two days at start and three days in rome at the end. Boarded ship immediately after leaving our hotel next door. We were on the equinox last year which was pretty much the same ship. We got our cabins, sunset aft after 1 o’clock. We upgraded to premium drinks package. This suited the wives but was possibly a waste of money for us. We also bought a specialist restaurant package. Again, the food was great in the Main dining room. The entertainment all over the ship was very good with something for everyone. We paid ?œ109 for a cabana and it started to rain. A chilled experience but expensive for what we actually got. Cabin was great at the back of the ship which was nice for sail away. We went to the ensemble lounge after visiting most of the bars at the end of the evening where there was entertainment to finish the night. Teresa and mammet were friendly and entertaining. The cellar masters was empty most nights and the space could be better utilised. Never struggled for sunbeds at all. The ship never appeared crowded unlike ncl epic in march. The service everywhere was superb. The cost of trips through the company itself is appalling. Great excursions can be got easily ashore. Internet extortionate $49 was an offer for 1 day! Photo package, again, extortionate. Take your own! I won’t talk about the ports of call as this itinerary suited us.
