Overall our trip was a great one but would wish to bring a few issues to the forefront for consideration by Celebri ty. Transfer coaches at Mykonos where over inflated and had to be reduced by 50% to compete with local buses. If this is typical then local buses should used in preference. I am sure that the local company do not reduce prices for cruise liner passengers and I would have expected that Celebrity would have been aware of competition pricing. We used local buses in Chania and they were fine and sensibly priced. Secondly the list of items listed in the cabin for Concierge Class was not met. We had to ask for oversized towels, we had to ask for fruit, no flowers etc. it is pointless publicising detail if this cannot be met. I do not believe we had “custom blended bath products” at Concierge level. We had problems with our bill whereby items where charged to our drinks account whilst on a drinks package. Yes it was sorted but should not have happened. Finally we did not receive a final account at room level before leaving so I have no idea of the final detail. I would appreciate it if this could be forwarded to me at some point. During the course of the voyage we found that daily data supplied the state room was often late and sometimes 12 hrs later than our friends on the same package.
The quality of our waiters in the dining room was second to none Hose,Sanford and Marko were exemplary and a credit to the Celebrity, well done to them.
The overall quality of this vacation was first class but Celebrity need to pick up on the small points to keep ahead of the rest which I believe they are!
