Worked like clockwork!

Celebrity are to be congratulated on the high level of efficiency in all areas. From the moment were arrived at Leonardo da Vinci airport in Rome – they were there, so helpful and friendly. We were transported to our cabin promptly and the luggage followed.

Our stateroom attendants wer so hardworking and obliging. There was nothing too much for them and they smiled all the time. Our waiters etc were also so personable.

After a fabulous cruise – to the Holy land – disembarking was perfect! The courier even came into the airport – with oour luggage. Such a difference when we got back to Heathrow – one of our cases had been put on the wrong carousel!

The trips arranged were manhy and varied. I thoroughly enjoyed the visits in Israel especially. Our courier was exceptional! She memorised the name of everyone (all 41) on the coaach!

The only negative comment concerns the 13 hour trip visitng the pyramids and tombs in Egypt. The guide on the 3 hour trip to Cairo talked all the time! She even made it quite clear that she did not want us to doze off! This was “her time” and we could doze on the way back she said!

When we got to the pyramids, we only had 20 minutes at the viewing place, she said. With so many elderly folk on the coach it took 5 minutes to get off; then we took another 5 minutes to find the coach at the end – so actually we had only 10 minutes. She mentioned something about tickets to actually go inside the pyramid; however by the time some of us got off the coach she had disappeared – so we never got into the pyramid!

The only place she did not give us a specified time alowance was at the papyrus institute- the mandatory shopping place. Did she have to collect her commission? We were all sitting on the coach ready to go for about 30 minutes before she re-appeared? Where had she been?

The coach itself was so old and uncomfortable!
