NZ AND OZ
Grenville White | August 23, 2019 | Celebrity Cruises | Celebrity Solstice
We have just returned from a cruise on Celebrity Solstice, aound New Zealand and Australia followed by a five week stay in Perth.
We flew to Auckland with Emirats and they made a very long journey enjoyable.
The checking in procedure on the ship was chaotic, first we were taken to a musuem to check in and after queueing there for some time ,they couldn,t find our paperwork or keys, we were then bused to the ship and had to go through it all over again. Which meant we missed out on time in the city.
Having enjoyed the shows on the Celebrity Eclipse last year we found the ones on the Solstice poor by comparison.
Compaints out of the way, the rest of the cruise was superb.WE will never forget sitting on our balcony with our room service breakfast looking straight across at the Sydney opera house and on our four wheel drive experiance in Esperance where looking one way Kangaroos were sitting in the sand and the other a pod of Dolphins played in the surf.
Many thanks again to Donna at Bolsover for making our arrangements so easy.
Be prepared to manage your expectations.
