Around Britain Cruise
Gly Clark | October 22, 2021 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
We left home with low expectation of the weather conditions, how wrong can you be. No gales, a little rain but loads of calm seas & blue skye ( I actually like rough weather). The wearing of masks, social distancing, reduced numbers in lifts were not a problem, most people seemed to accept we are in changed times. All the ports had something to offer, we did 5 trips ( we normally do not do ship’s tours) all were well planned & well executed. The rib trip from Invergorden & Giant Causeway were the best. Liverpool was a surprise & a Joy. The ship, crew & service was as we remembered from pre Covid as we expected. The pre embarkation checks/tests were simple & effective. The great bonus was missing Holly Head & a slow sail back to Southhampton. The wild life was amazing. Well over 300 dolphin (Common & White Sided Atlantic plus Bottle Nose). 5 Minkie Wales, 3 Orcas & 1 Sei Wale. Fantastic trip.
