Christmas/New Year Cruise with Cunard
Andrew Lewis | January 17, 2018 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
If this cruise with Cunard had been our first we would never have cruised again.
Food in Britannia Restaurant was, at best, lukewarm and often cold. The alternative dining options on Queen Elizabeth were very poor and expensive compared to other cruise lines. Price for drinks was extortionate, which probably explained why the bars were empty by 9.30pm. Entertainment was drab in the theatre and almost non existent everywhere else on the ship. As the ship was only first launched in 2010 we had not expected it to look so tired and in need of refurbishment.
The only highlight of this trip was the firework display on New Years Eve in Madeira which was wonderful.
